How to attend Wimbledon with a Debenture ticket

The only legal premium route: best seats, included lounges, a London stay orchestrated end to end.

In short

Debenture tickets (Centre Court and No.1 Court) are the only Wimbledon tickets that may be legally transferred or resold to third parties. They give the best show-court seats, plus included access to the lounges and restaurants reserved for Debenture Holders. TGZ, an independent concierge, sources these tickets on the secondary market and orchestrates the entire stay — subject to availability, on request.

When and where is Wimbledon 2026?

The Championships, Wimbledon is the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world, and the only one of the four Grand Slams played on grass. It is organised by The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) on Church Road, in the Wimbledon district of south-west London (SW19).

The 2026 edition runs from Monday 29 June to Sunday 12 July 2026 — a fortnight of competition with play on all fourteen days. The Ladies' Singles Final is scheduled for Saturday 11 July 2026 and the Gentlemen's Singles Final for Sunday 12 July 2026, both on Centre Court.

Each summer, spanning late June and mid-July, the tournament turns this leafy corner of London into a fixture of the British social calendar. Demand for the best seats concentrates on the two finals weekends and the second week.

The show courts: Centre Court and No.1 Court

Centre Court is the heart of Wimbledon: around 14,979 seats and a retractable roof in place since 2009, allowing play to continue under cover and into the evening. It is here that the finals and most of the marquee matches are staged.

No.1 Court, the site's second arena, holds around 12,345 seats and has had its own retractable roof since 2019. It hosts major matches in a more intimate yet equally electric atmosphere.

The Royal Box on Centre Court is reserved for the club's guests by invitation only: it is not among the accesses that can be booked. Debenture tickets, by contrast, give access to these two exceptional courts — the only tickets TGZ is entitled to source.

Debenture tickets: the only legal route

A Debenture is a financial instrument issued by the AELTC over five years, for Centre Court or No.1 Court. Each day of the tournament corresponds to a ticket allocated to its holder. Crucially, Debenture tickets are the only Wimbledon tickets that may be legally transferred or resold to third parties. Every other route — the Ballot, The Queue and official resale — is named to the holder and non-transferable.

This is precisely what makes the Debenture ticket the only premium route TGZ can take in full compliance. An independent concierge with no affiliation to The Championships or the AELTC, TGZ sources these tickets on the legitimate secondary market, privately and subject to availability.

A Debenture ticket is far more than the seat. It includes access to the lounges, bars, restaurants, garden, dedicated entrance and parking reserved for Debenture Holders — a discreet, refined setting, included with the ticket and not sold separately. You enjoy the best seats and a club atmosphere throughout the day.

Centre Court or No.1 Court: which Debenture?

Both Debentures give the best seats on their respective court and the facilities included for their holders. The choice comes down to the court, the match-up you are after and the budget. The table below summarises the essentials; all prices are indicative, in pounds sterling (£), per person, and confirmed on request subject to availability.

Where to stay and getting there

The Debenture ticket gives access to the courts; the stay is TGZ's bespoke orchestration. Staying in Mayfair, at the heart of London, places you in the world of palace hotels — addresses such as Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Dorchester, The Lanesborough or The Savoy — with their dining rooms, spas and the capital's nightlife within reach.

For a more countryside feel, houses such as Cannizaro or Hotel du Vin Wimbledon, near Wimbledon Village, offer an intimate setting a few minutes from the club's gates. These addresses are named by way of illustration, not as partnerships.

From Mayfair or central London, allow around 30 to 45 minutes by private chauffeur to SW19, depending on traffic. The nearest stations are Southfields (District line) and Wimbledon. For international arrivals, private aviation lands at Farnborough, Biggin Hill or London City, with helicopter transfers possible. TGZ orchestrates the whole — hotel, chauffeur, timing and logistics — around your days at the tournament.

Dress code, etiquette and traditions

Wimbledon cultivates a discreet elegance. In the lounges and restaurants reserved for Debenture Holders, smart, elegant attire is expected: no sportswear or casual denim, and a jacket is required for gentlemen in some restaurants. There is, however, no rule requiring white for spectators: the famous all-white rule applies to players on court, not to the public.

On traditions, two rituals are the soul of the tournament: strawberries and cream, and Pimm's, served throughout the fortnight. The immaculately tended grass remains the tournament's signature.

Finally, the Royal Box on Centre Court welcomes the club's guests by invitation only: it is not a commercially available access. The art of Wimbledon with a Debenture lies in this balance — the best seats, included lounges of quiet refinement, and the restraint that befits the most prestigious tennis in the world.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The 2026 edition runs from Monday 29 June to Sunday 12 July 2026, over a fortnight. The Ladies' Singles Final is set for Saturday 11 July and the Gentlemen's Singles Final for Sunday 12 July 2026, on Centre Court.

Because Debenture tickets are the only Wimbledon tickets the AELTC permits to be transferred or resold to third parties. Every other route (the Ballot, The Queue, official resale) is named to the holder and non-transferable. TGZ therefore sources only Debentures, privately on the secondary market, subject to availability.

Beyond the best seats on Centre Court or No.1 Court, the ticket includes access to the lounges, bars, restaurants and garden reserved for Debenture Holders, plus a dedicated entrance and parking. These facilities come with the ticket and are not sold separately.

In the Debenture lounges and restaurants, smart, elegant attire is expected (no sportswear; a jacket is required for gentlemen in some restaurants). No rule requires white for the public: the all-white rule concerns players only.

As early as possible. The best Debentures — Centre Court, finals days — go first and are subject to availability. Booking several months ahead maximises your choice of court, dates and the orchestration of the stay. A last-minute request remains possible, on request.
