Cookie Policy

How TGZ Conciergerie uses cookies and similar technologies, the choices available to you, and how to exercise them — written plainly and fully compliant with the GDPR and the recommendations of the CNIL.

Last updated: 29 June 2026

1. Introduction

At TGZ Conciergerie, discretion extends to the way we treat your data. This policy explains, transparently and without jargon, how our website uses cookies and similar technologies, and the control you retain over them.

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device — computer, tablet or smartphone — when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise your device, remember your choices and function reliably and securely. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, may serve comparable purposes; throughout this policy, the word “cookies” refers to them all.

We use cookies for a deliberately limited set of purposes: to keep the site secure, to process payments safely, to remember the language in which you wish to be served and — only with your consent — to understand how our site is used and to improve it. We never use cookies to build intrusive profiles, and non-essential cookies are placed only once you have agreed to them.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential to deliver the website and the services you request. They cannot be switched off through our consent tool and, in line with the recommendations of the CNIL, they do not require your consent. They include:

  • Session cookies — maintain the integrity and continuity of your visit, for example by keeping a secure browsing session active.
  • Security cookies — protect the site against fraud and malicious activity and keep your connection safe.
  • Language preference (“tgz-locale”) — delivers the site in the language you have chosen (English, French or Spanish).
  • Stripe (“__stripe_mid”, “__stripe_sid”) — secure payment processing and fraud prevention, set by our payment provider, Stripe.
  • Cloudflare (“__cf_bm”, “cf_clearance”) — security, bot detection and reliable delivery of the site through our content-delivery and protection network.

Because these cookies are indispensable to the operation of the site, blocking them through your browser may prevent parts of the site — including secure payment — from working correctly.

Preference cookies

Preference cookies allow the site to remember choices you make, so that your experience is more personal and consistent — such as your preferred language, region or display settings. Where a preference is strictly necessary to provide the service you have asked for (for instance, serving the site in your chosen language), it is treated as a strictly necessary cookie above. Any preference cookie that goes beyond what is essential is placed only with your consent and may be withdrawn at any time.

Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our site — which pages are viewed, how our content performs and where the experience can be refined — so that we can continually elevate the service we offer.

Analytics cookies are placed only after you have given your consent, and they remain disabled until you do. We are committed to privacy-respectful measurement: should we introduce an analytics solution — whether a privacy-first tool such as Plausible, Google Analytics 4 or a comparable service — it will be activated solely on the basis of your consent, configured in line with the CNIL’s guidance, and described transparently in this policy before any data is collected.

Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of our communications and, where relevant, to present you with tailored content, to limit how often you see a particular message, or to support remarketing — reminding you of services in which you have shown an interest.

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. Should we do so in future, they will be placed only with your explicit, prior consent — never by default — and you will be able to refuse or withdraw them as easily as you granted them.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Certain trusted partners may place cookies through our site to deliver functions we rely on. Each acts under contractual data-protection commitments and, where it is based outside the European Union, transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards — such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses — as described in our Privacy Policy.

  • Stripe — processes card payments securely and helps prevent fraud. Stripe sets cookies that are strictly necessary to complete a transaction; TGZ Conciergerie never stores your card details.
  • Cloudflare — delivers, accelerates and protects the site, distinguishing genuine visitors from malicious traffic. Its cookies are strictly necessary for security and reliable operation.
  • Google — provides our professional email infrastructure and may, in future and subject to your consent, support audience measurement (for example through Google Analytics 4). No Google analytics cookie is placed without your prior agreement.
  • Consent-management provider — should we deploy a consent platform (for example CookieYes, Axeptio or Cookiebot), it may set a strictly necessary cookie to record and honour your cookie choices.

Third-party cookies are also governed by each provider’s own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review.

4. Cookie Duration

The table below summarises, by category, the purpose of the cookies we use, how long they are retained, and the legal basis on which they rely. Retention periods follow the recommendations of the CNIL: cookies have a lifespan of no more than 13 months, any information collected through them is kept for no more than 25 months, and the cookie that remembers your consent choices is retained for up to 13 months, after which we ask you again. The record evidencing your consent is kept as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Consent Management

We believe consent should be genuine, informed and effortless to manage. In keeping with the GDPR and the CNIL’s recommendations:

  • Non-essential cookies — analytics, marketing and optional preferences — are blocked until you have given your consent. Nothing is placed on your device by default.
  • Refusing is as simple as accepting. Our consent banner offers a clear choice to accept all, reject all, or set your preferences, with equal prominence given to each option.
  • You may withdraw or change your consent at any time, and just as easily as you gave it, without affecting your ability to use the site.

Our consent mechanism is designed to operate with any compliant consent-management platform — such as CookieYes, Axeptio or Cookiebot — which records your choices, applies them across the site, and keeps an auditable trace of your consent.

6. Managing Cookies

You remain in control of your cookies at all times. You can:

  • Change your consent — reopen the cookie preferences panel at any time to review or update the categories you have allowed.
  • Delete cookies — clear existing cookies through your browser settings, which removes the choices already stored on your device.
  • Configure your browser — set your browser to accept, refuse or alert you when cookies are placed. Most browsers — including Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge — let you manage cookies through their privacy or security settings, and provide guidance in their help sections.

Please note that blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may affect the proper functioning of the site, including secure payment.

7. Your Rights

Where cookies involve the processing of personal data, that processing is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which sets out in full how we handle your personal data.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, or for any question about how cookies process your data, please contact us using the details below.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL — www.cnil.fr) — though we would always welcome the opportunity to resolve your concern directly first.

8. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, or in legal, regulatory or technical requirements. Any revised version takes effect as soon as it is published on this page, and the date of the most recent update is always shown at the top.

Where a change materially affects non-essential cookies, it will, where required, be accompanied by a renewed request for your consent. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
