The Saint-Tropez dossier

Luxury Concierge in Saint-Tropez

A private briefing on the peninsula — where to stay, where to lunch, where you are let in when everything shows full.

Where to stay

Villas in the vines, palaces in the village

The real Saint-Tropez is lived in a villa: in the hills of Ramatuelle or among the Gassin vines, with pool, views over the bay, chef, butler and crew. To that we add the finest hotels — Cheval Blanc St-Tropez on the Plage de la Bouillabaisse, Hôtel Byblos on Avenue Paul Signac in the heart of the village, La Réserve Ramatuelle on the heights above Pampelonne. Depending on the season and the size of the party, we strike the right balance between the intimacy of a private house and the service of a palace.

The table

From haute cuisine to tables by the sea

Tropezian dining is lived as much with your feet in the sand as at the table of a great chef. La Vague d'Or, at Cheval Blanc, three Michelin stars facing the bay; Cucina by Byblos, the contemporary trattoria of the Hôtel Byblos; La Voile, at La Réserve Ramatuelle, Mediterranean cooking up in the hills. We hold the corner tables, the private menus and the last-minute lunches where public booking shows full — including at the height of the season.

Beaches & nights

Pampelonne by day, Les Caves du Roy by night

Pampelonne is a legend: Club 55, the Tropezian institution born of the filming of And God Created Woman, and Loulou Ramatuelle, its elegant neighbour, set the rhythm of lunches by the water. The front-row daybed cannot be booked online; we secure it. When night falls the scene changes: Les Caves du Roy, at the Byblos, remains the most legendary club on the Riviera. A reserved table, a bespoke welcome, through to dawn.

On the water

Yacht, charter and days at sea

In Saint-Tropez the sea is not a backdrop, it is the stage. We charter yachts by the day or the week, with crew, for outings to the Estérel calanques, their red rocks plunging into the water, or to the Lérins islands off Cannes. Tender from your mooring, lunch on board, a discreet anchorage far from the crowd: we coordinate captain, chef and hostess. For an arrival by sea, the tender sets you down at the foot of the village itself.

Arrivals & access

Helicopter from Nice, tender from the yacht

In season the peninsula road saturates and a transfer from Nice can take hours. The answer is the helicopter from Nice Côte d'Azur airport, which reaches Saint-Tropez in minutes, welcome and luggage coordinated on the ground. From a yacht at anchor, the tender sets you down at the harbour. On the peninsula, a fleet with drivers stays at your disposal. In May–June and September, access eases and the season is savoured more freely.
