amfAR's first gala in Cannes is a dinner, up in the hills, in a restaurant in Mougins. During the Festival, it gathers what it can to fund research against AIDS.

What we actually arrange.
Four distinct undertakings, which can be taken separately or together. None of them consists of selling a place at the gala.
Each part is composed on request and subject to availability. Nothing is booked in advance, nothing is sold from a catalogue.
The evening
Gala night, on the Riviera.
The gala belongs to the foundation and its guests. If you have taken your table from it, we handle everything else; if not, the evening is composed elsewhere, by the water.

The evening's look waits at the villa or in the suite, altered if needed. Hair and make-up are timed to the hour of departure; the stylist stays until the door.

In May, the coast road fills up early. The car leaves ahead of time; the itinerary knows the timings and the fallback routes.

An indicative example: each evening is composed to measure, nothing is booked in advance, and no table or place at the gala is part of it.

The gala's tables and places are sold by amfAR itself, in support of research; terms and acceptance rest with it alone. We sell none and promise no access. We can tell you how to contact the foundation, then arrange everything else: the address, the look, the dinners, the journeys.
The gala takes place during the Cannes Film Festival, in recent years on a Thursday of the second week — 22 May in 2025, 21 May in 2026. The 80th Festival runs from 11 to 22 May 2027; amfAR has not yet published the date of the 2027 gala. We first build what does not depend on it — the address, the flight — then the rest once it is confirmed.
On Cap d'Antibes, you sleep close to the evening and far from the bustle of the Croisette; in Cannes, you live the Festival on foot. The Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc hosts the gala: staying there gives no access to the evening. Our guide Where to stay for the amfAR Gala compares each option.
During the Festival, the coast road between Cannes and Antibes is very busy, especially in the early evening. We take this into account in departure times, the choice of address and, when useful, an arrival by sea or by air.

We first build what does not depend on the date, then the rest as soon as it is confirmed.
In recent years, at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, on Cap d'Antibes, around fifteen kilometres from Cannes along the coast road. The foundation confirms the venue of each edition; we follow its announcement for 2027.
On Cap d'Antibes to sleep close to the evening and away from the bustle of the Croisette; in Cannes to live the Festival on foot; in a villa with staff to receive guests.
