Longchamp, 1920

In the aftermath of the war, a race was created at Longchamp, open to horses of every origin and every age. It was named after the monument beneath which the Allies had marched the year before. The first was run on Sunday 3 October 1920.

Three formats

Choose how far we go.

Three starting points, never three packages. The final composition is built from your brief.

Each format is assembled to measure. Availability, origin and conditions for every service are confirmed before you commit.

Where you will be

Four ways to be at the races.

Your place decides what you see of the home straight, and how you live the afternoon. You enter with a ticket, a lounge or a private box.

Nothing is held in advance. Every option is sourced at your request, from the organiser or authorised partners, and confirmed before you commit. The 2027 offer has not yet been published.

The day

From the suite to the last dinner.

What an Arc Sunday looks like, composed by us. The race is run in mid-afternoon; the rest is prepared with you.

A bright bedroom, an upholstered headboard, light through tall windows.
Morning
  1. Morning

    The attire

The suit is pressed, the hat waits on the console, the chauffeur is downstairs. You leave unhurried: the approaches to the Bois fill up before noon.

  2. Midday

    Lunch

A hospitality lounge or your private box, depending on what has been confirmed for you. Then the parade ring, to see the horses before the first races.

  3. Afternoon

    The race

Several Group 1 races follow one another, then the Arc, in mid-afternoon. Two and a half minutes, and a home straight that falls silent before it erupts.

  4. Evening

    Dinner

A table held for you on the Right Bank, or a private dinner in your suite. A reservation made weeks in advance.

  5. The night

    The palace

The return is unhurried. Tomorrow, Paris; tonight ends when you decide.

Indicative example: every day is composed to measure, nothing is booked in advance, and tickets and hospitality are sourced on request, never resold.

How we work

All you have to do is watch the home straight.

  1. 01

    A single point of contact

The same person follows your file from the first conversation to the last evening.

  2. 02

    End-to-end coordination

Access, address, journeys and attire are thought through together, not stacked.

  3. 03

    Candour from the start

We tell you early what is realistic, including when a package is sold out.

  4. 04

    Trilingual service

French, English, Spanish — for you as for your guests.

  5. 05

    Confidentiality

Names, amounts and programmes stay between us.

  6. 06

    Private or corporate

The same care, whether the request is personal or made on behalf of a company.

The detail

What to know before you ask.

The race is traditionally run on the first Sunday in October, within a weekend of racing. France Galop has not yet published the exact day of the 2027 edition; we confirm it to you as soon as it is published, and a quotation can be prepared now.

Saturday opens the weekend, at a calmer pace. On Sunday, the Arc is run in mid-afternoon, after several other Group 1 races; it is the day when packages go first.

No written rule for the whole racecourse, but smart dress required in some restaurants, and an elegant custom: suit and tie, day dress or tailoring, a hat if you wish, and an October coat.

Chauffeur from the Right Bank, free shuttles from Porte Maillot and Porte d'Auteuil, the T2 tram, a jet to Le Bourget: Sunday's crowds are planned for.
