A yacht for the Cannes Film Festival: charters, berths and receptions on board
The finest address in Cannes during the festival is not on the Croisette — it lies just across from it, on the water.
For twelve days each May, the bay of Cannes becomes the most closely watched stretch of water in the world. From Tuesday 11 to Saturday 22 May 2027, the 80th Festival de Cannes gathers world cinema around the Palais des Festivals — while a few hundred metres offshore, a fleet of yachts forms the Croisette's true private annexe. On board, one entertains, negotiates, dines and withdraws; the festival is lived at once up close and at a civilised remove. TGZ Conciergerie charters the yacht, secures the berth or anchorage, and orchestrates each day around your screenings, meetings and evenings.
In practice, two geographies are open to you. Alongside, at the Vieux Port — facing the Palais — or at Port Canto, at the far end of the Croisette: berths in extraordinary demand during the festival, reserved months in advance, which turn the yacht into a permanent headquarters. Or at anchor off the Croisette: greater privacy and freedom, with a dedicated tender reaching the quay in minutes. In either case, crew, chef, security and the entire maritime logistics are arranged by us, from the first coffee to the last late-night transfer.
TGZ Conciergerie is an independent concierge: we are affiliated with neither the Festival de Cannes, the AFFIF, the Palais des Festivals nor the Marché du Film, and hold no official status. The Marché du Film remains strictly reserved for accredited industry professionals: a yacht is a private reception venue, not a badge, and access to screenings or the red-carpet steps is arranged only subject to availability, through legitimate private channels. The figures quoted — from €15,000 to €80,000+ per day, and from €100,000 to over €1M per week — are indicative and always confirmed by quotation.

The festival from the water, arranged to measure
By the day or by the week, alongside or at anchor, for a dinner of twenty or a reception of a hundred and fifty: this is how we compose your yacht for the festival.
Day charter off the Croisette
A single day on board, at anchor facing the Croisette: breakfast overlooking the bay, the chef's lunch on deck, a swim off the Lérins Islands, and a return at sunset as the Palais lights up. The day charter is the most flexible way to experience the festival from the sea — from a fast open yacht to a motor yacht of 40 metres and beyond. Allow from €15,000 to €80,000+ per day depending on the yacht's size, age and programme, always indicative and confirmed by quotation. Tender and crew are included as per the charter agreement.
The week alongside — your private festival headquarters
A berth at the Vieux Port or Port Canto turns the yacht into a headquarters: a few minutes' walk from the Palais, you entertain, work and retreat in an entirely private setting at the heart of the festival. These berths are among the most sought-after in Europe during the fortnight and are reserved months ahead — securing them is precisely our trade. Depending on the yacht's size and the berth's position, a week runs from €100,000 to over €1M, berth fees in addition, by quotation.
Receptions & dinners on board
From 20 to 150 guests depending on the yacht: a sunset cocktail on the upper deck, a seated dinner composed by an on-board chef, a film or house launch. We design the reception end to end — staging, galley brigade or caterer, sommelier, musicians or DJ, guest-list management and discreet control at the passerelle. During the festival, a deck facing the bay of Cannes remains one of the most coveted reception venues on the coast — and one of the most controllable, since the guest list is yours.
Corporate hospitality & private screenings on board
During the Marché du Film — strictly reserved for accredited professionals — the yacht plays a different role: a private reception venue in which to host partners, distributors and talent away from the Palais. The main saloon converts into a private screening room with calibrated picture and sound; confidential meetings take place on deck; business lunches are served alongside. The yacht neither replaces nor stands in for accreditation: it offers what no badge can — territory entirely your own, five minutes from the Palais.
Maritime logistics: tender, transfers & provisioning
Behind every seamless day lies precise machinery. A dedicated tender between anchorage and quay, transfers synchronised with your screenings and dinners, the Nice–Cannes helicopter link of around ten minutes on arrival, and a chauffeur at the passerelle to negotiate a Croisette partly closed during the festival. We also coordinate provisioning — cellars, flowers, rare produce — crew rotations and, where required, discreet close protection on board and ashore. You see none of this machinery; you feel only its effect.
Why charter your Cannes yacht with TGZ
One interlocutor, one score. We select the yacht through our charter partners, negotiate the berth or anchorage, assemble crew, chef and cellar, then synchronise the yacht with the rest of your festival: a palace suite on the Croisette as a pied-à-terre, a dedicated chauffeur, evening tables, styling before each gala. The yacht is not a standalone service — it is the centrepiece of a stay we orchestrate in full, while you simply live it.
Our independence is your guarantee of clarity. TGZ Conciergerie is affiliated with neither the Festival de Cannes, the AFFIF nor the Marché du Film, and sells neither badges nor accreditation — accreditation is reserved for film-industry professionals and cannot be bought. Official invitations are nominative and non-transferable, so access to screenings or official evenings is arranged subject to availability and eligibility, through partners and private invitations where possible. We prefer that precision to any unverifiable promise.
Cannes is decided months in advance: berths at the Vieux Port and Port Canto, the finest yachts and the most experienced crews are committed long before spring. To frame your project, our guide How much does a VIP Cannes Film Festival cost sets out the orders of magnitude, Where to stay during the Cannes Film Festival compares palace hotels and villas alongside life on board, and How to get to the Cannes Film Festival covers jets, helicopters and chauffeurs. Our Cannes Film Festival VIP page presents the stay as a whole.
