How to Attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed?
A ticket and the grandstands, hospitality packages sold by Goodwood, spaces reserved for club members: what can be bought, what can be sourced on request, and what cannot be bought.

To attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed, you need a day ticket, sold by Goodwood in digital form; access to the twelve public grandstands requires a separate pass. Tickets for 2027 go on general sale in November 2026, earlier for the GRRC Fellowship. Goodwood also sells its hospitality packages, already open for 2027: the Library Lawn Garden Party in the gardens of Goodwood House, The Kennels Dining Room, the Clark and Surtees pavilions beside the hill, and private Trackside Pavilions. The Kinrara Pavilion is reserved for members of the Goodwood Road Racing Club. TGZ resells no tickets: we source tickets and hospitality on request, origin and conditions confirmed before any commitment.
The short answer: a ticket, or a package
At Goodwood there are no enclosures in the racecourse sense: the ticket opens the whole park, the paddocks, the rally stage and the lawns. What changes from one way of attending to another is where you watch the hill from, and what awaits you between runs: a public grandstand, a private garden, a balcony beside the track, a pavilion of your own.
The table below summarises the routes described by Goodwood.
| Route | What it offers | Access |
|---|---|---|
| Day ticket | The whole park: hill, paddocks, rally stage, concours d'elegance | General sale by Goodwood, November 2026 |
| Grandstand pass | The twelve public grandstands, along the hill | In addition to the ticket, from Goodwood |
| Hospitality package | A place of your own for the day, meals and service, often with parking and grandstand access | Sold by Goodwood, already open for 2027 |
| Club spaces | Kinrara Pavilion, Pit Stop enclosures | Members of the Goodwood Road Racing Club or the Fellowship |

The ticket and the grandstand pass
The day ticket is digital: it appears in the Goodwood Tickets app after purchase. Goodwood states that tickets resold outside its designated resale platform may be refused entry — one more reason never to buy through an intermediary whose tickets are of unknown origin.
The twelve public grandstands open with the Roving Grandstand Pass, which lets you change viewpoint through the day, from the start line to Molecomb Corner. For families: under-18s come accompanied by an adult holding a ticket, children aged 12 and under need a child ticket ordered in advance, and everyone from the age of 2 needs their own grandstand pass.
The gardens and the club: Library Lawn and The Kennels
The Library Lawn Garden Party takes place in the private gardens of Goodwood House, a few steps from the action: a brunch at the chef's table, afternoon tea, grandstand access, parking on site. Goodwood describes it as an informal reception, designed for small groups; wheelchair access there is very limited, to be checked before booking.
The Kennels Dining Room opens Goodwood's members' clubhouse for the day: a dining room and a terrace, breakfast and lunch from the estate's own farm produce, a shuttle to the festival entrance, grandstand access. It is a calm base, a little removed from the crowds.

The balconies beside the hill: Clark, Surtees, private pavilions
Clark is a contemporary pavilion at Molecomb Corner, one of the hill's more demanding passages, with a balcony beside the track: breakfast, a three-course lunch, afternoon tea. Surtees is the fullest of Goodwood's packages: a private enclosure and a balcony whose view runs from the start line to beyond the house, a table designed by a chef, and a dedicated concierge who plans the day's programme with you.
For hosting, the Trackside Pavilions are private pavilions beside the hill, designed for thirty guests, with dedicated service. We source these packages on request, from Goodwood, origin and conditions confirmed before any commitment. For a couple, a table in a garden or at the club is often enough; for a group or clients, the pavilion is the right answer.
| Package | Where, and what it includes | For whom |
|---|---|---|
| Library Lawn Garden Party | Private gardens of Goodwood House; brunch, tea, grandstand access, parking | Couples, friends, small groups |
| The Kennels Dining Room | Members' clubhouse; dining room and terrace, meals, shuttle, grandstand access | Those who want a calm base for the day |
| Clark | Molecomb Corner; balcony beside the track, meals and tea | Devotees of the hill, small groups |
| Surtees | Private enclosure, balcony from the start line to the house, chef's table, dedicated concierge | Those who want the fullest day |
| Trackside Pavilions | Private pavilion beside the hill, thirty guests | Hosting family, friends or clients |
The Goodwood Road Racing Club: what can be done, and what cannot
Founded in 1998, the Goodwood Road Racing Club brings together the regulars of Goodwood's events. The way in is first through the Fellowship, open on registration: it gives a priority window for tickets, access to the Pit Stop enclosures during the festival, and the possibility of joining the members' waiting list. Full membership, for its part, is offered only to Fellows, as places become available; among other things, it opens the Kinrara Pavilion, on the inside of Crossroads Corner, with its private lawn and grandstand.
Let us put it simply: we can neither have you admitted as a member, nor take you into the Kinrara Pavilion, nor shorten the waiting list. If you wish to join the Fellowship, the application is yours to make, with Goodwood; we compose the rest of the stay around it.
