How to Attend Monterey Car Week?
A circuit that sells its tickets, a gathering allocated by ballot, invitation-only evenings, streets open to all: who sells what, and what cannot be bought.
Last updated 6 October 2026 · 4 min read
There is no single ticket for Monterey Car Week: each event has its own organiser and ticketing. The Laguna Seca circuit sells the tickets for the historic racing — admission, which opens grandstands, hillsides and paddock, and its hospitality packages. The organiser of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance sells the Sunday tickets and its packages. The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering allocates its tickets by ballot. The Concorso Italiano is on ticket; Carmel's street concours and several gatherings are free. The auctions each have their own rules. Some evenings are strictly by invitation. TGZ resells no tickets and sells no invitations: we source on request what is open to the public, origin and conditions confirmed before any commitment.
The overall answer: one organiser per event
Car Week looks like a festival, but has none of a festival's ticketing. Each day is made up of independent events: a morning at the circuit, an afternoon on a golf course, a sale in the evening. For each, you need to know who sells, how, and when sales open.
The table below summarises the routes in, as the organisers describe them.
| Event | Who sells, and how | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Historic racing at Laguna Seca | The circuit: admission, hospitality clubs, suites | Source tickets and packages, arrange the journeys |
| The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering | Its organiser, by ballot, limited number of tickets | Alert you when the ballot opens; we do not get around it |
| Concorso Italiano and ticketed gatherings | Each organiser, online | Source the tickets, compose the day |
| Carmel street concours, free gatherings | Open access | Chauffeur, table, the rhythm of the day |
| Auctions | Each house: saleroom, catalogue, registration to bid | Arrange your presence; registration stays between you and the house |
| Invitation-only evenings | Their hosts, strictly by invitation | Nothing: we sell no invitations |
| Concours Sunday | Its organiser: tickets and hospitality packages | Source on request, compose the Sunday |

Racing at Laguna Seca: tickets and hospitality
The circuit sells its own tickets. Admission opens the grandstands, the hillsides overlooking the track and the paddock, where teams prepare the cars; it does not give access to the pits during racing. Children 15 and under enter free with a ticketed adult, except in the suites, according to the conditions published for 2026. Admission tickets are kept on your phone; package tickets are sent by post a few weeks ahead.
For those who want a base, the circuit sells hospitality clubs and suites above pit lane — in 2026, Champion's Club, Premier Pit Row Suites or Legends Club, among others. The names change from one edition to the next; we confirm the 2027 offer when it opens, and source it on request.
Gatherings: free, on ticket, by ballot
Three regimes coexist. Free events first: Carmel-by-the-Sea's street concours on Tuesday, several gatherings in Pacific Grove and Seaside, the Pebble Beach Concours Village. You simply come; a chauffeur settles the parking question. Ticketed events next, such as the Concorso Italiano in Seaside on Saturday: we source the tickets on request.
The third regime stands apart: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, on Friday in Carmel Valley, deliberately limits its audience and allocates its tickets by ballot, among subscribers to its newsletter, at the start of the year. To put it simply: we can neither get around this ballot nor obtain a ticket for you by another route. We alert you when it opens and, if you are drawn, we compose the day around it.

The auctions
Several auction houses hold their sales during Car Week, mostly from Thursday to Saturday, in Monterey, Pebble Beach and Carmel Valley. Each sets its own rules: saleroom sometimes open to the public, catalogue, prior registration with supporting documents to bid.
We are not brokers and we bid for no one. We arrange your presence — journeys, a chauffeur who waits, a table after the sale — and leave you to deal directly with the house, registration and bidding included.
What cannot be bought
Some of the week's evenings are strictly by invitation, at a business aviation centre at the airport or on a private estate in the hills of Carmel. Entering a car in a concours or a race is done by application to the organiser.
We sell no invitations, submit no application on your behalf and influence no selection. What we do: compose everything else, and tell you early what is realistic.

Key points
No single ticket: the circuit sells the racing, the Concours organiser sells the Sunday, each gathering has its regime — free, on ticket, by ballot — each auction house its rules, and some evenings remain by invitation. TGZ Conciergerie, an independent house with no affiliation with any of the week's organisers — neither the Laguna Seca circuit nor the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance — and no official status, resells no tickets and sells no invitations: we source on request what is open to the public, origin and conditions confirmed before any commitment, and compose the week around it.
Frequently asked questions
No. Each event has its own ticketing. The Laguna Seca circuit offers its own multi-day tickets for the racing; the rest is composed event by event.
According to the circuit, the grandstands, the hillsides and the paddock, where you see the cars being prepared; not access to the pits during racing. Hospitality packages add a base, meals and a view of the track.
Through its organiser's ballot, open to newsletter subscribers at the start of the year. We cannot get around it; if you are drawn, we compose the day around it.
Often, depending on the house: some salerooms are open, others require a catalogue or registration. To bid, prior registration with the house is required; we bid for no one.
No. Invitation-only evenings remain by invitation: we do not sell entry to them, nor request it in your name. We are glad to compose your own evenings — a table, a private dinner at your villa.
Entry is by application to each organiser. We can neither apply on your behalf nor influence the selection; if your car is accepted, we compose the stay around it.
We resell no tickets. We source tickets and hospitality open to the public on request, from each organiser, and confirm their origin and conditions before any commitment.
