How to Get to the Serpentine Summer Party
From Paris to London, then from the hotel to the gardens: the journeys that matter for a stay around the Serpentine, and how we coordinate them.

The Serpentine stands in Kensington Gardens, in the heart of London: Serpentine South, where the Pavilion rises, is about 900 metres from Lancaster Gate station (Central line), 1.2 kilometres from Knightsbridge and 1.5 kilometres from Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly line), and served by buses 94, 148, 274 and 390. From Paris, the Eurostar links Gare du Nord to St Pancras in a little over two hours; by private flight, you land at Farnborough, London City or Heathrow. Once there, a dedicated chauffeur reaches the nearest gate; by day, the garden paths are easily walked.
Where the Serpentine is
The Serpentine occupies two buildings on either side of the lake that gives it its name. Serpentine South, the original gallery, stands in Kensington Gardens, and the Pavilion is built on its lawn each summer; this is where the Summer Party takes place. Serpentine North is on the other side of the bridge, on West Carriage Drive.
Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park form a single whole: there are many gates, from Kensington, Bayswater, Knightsbridge or Park Lane. The park keeps seasonal opening hours, set by The Royal Parks; the Summer Party is held in the evening, inside.

From Paris: Eurostar or private flight
The Eurostar links Gare du Nord to St Pancras International in a little over two hours, centre to centre. A chauffeur waits on arrival; depending on traffic, Kensington and Knightsbridge are then about half an hour away. It is often the simplest route for a stay of a few days.
By private flight, Farnborough, an airport dedicated to business aviation, and London City, in the east of the city, are the usual choices; Heathrow, to the west, suits scheduled flights and some private flights. In late June, the London season fills the slots: we plan them early, together with the welcome and the transfer.
| Route | Arrival | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Eurostar | St Pancras International | A little over two hours from Gare du Nord, chauffeur on arrival |
| Private flight — Farnborough | South-west of London | Business aviation airport, slots to plan early in June |
| Private flight — London City | East London | Close to the City, transfer across town |
| Scheduled flight — Heathrow | West London | On the Kensington side, welcome and transfer coordinated |
Within London: Tube, bus, chauffeur
The Serpentine recommends public transport. Lancaster Gate, on the Central line, is the closest station to Serpentine South, about 900 metres away; Knightsbridge, at 1.2 kilometres, and Hyde Park Corner, at 1.5 kilometres, are on the Piccadilly line. Buses 94, 148, 274 and 390 serve the edges of the park. Parking is paid, within walking distance.
For a stay of this nature, a dedicated chauffeur remains the calmest option: he knows the gates, waits where needed, handles the central Congestion Charge when the route crosses the zone, and plans a fallback itinerary when Park Lane or Knightsbridge become congested.

On Summer Party night
In 2024, the evening ran from 7pm to 10pm. The times of each edition appear on the invitation. In evening attire, on the grass, it is wiser not to cross the park on foot: the car drops you as close as possible and waits for your return.
If you are not invited, we arrange your own evening elsewhere in the city that night — a dinner, a privately hired venue — with the same care for the journeys. In late June, daylight lingers in London: a last stroll through the gardens before dinner remains possible.
Visiting the Pavilion
The Pavilion is open to the public, free of charge, from early June to late October, every day during the daytime: from 10am to 6pm in 2026, according to the Serpentine. The galleries, also free to enter, recommend booking a time slot in advance. We arrange the visit at opening time, while the gardens are still quiet.

What we coordinate
Eurostar or private flight, welcome on arrival, a chauffeur for the stay, a car on Summer Party night, the Pavilion visit: each journey is planned, and all of them hold together. TGZ Conciergerie, an independent house with no affiliation to the Serpentine or The Royal Parks, and no official status, coordinates the arrival, the transfers and the chauffeur on site, on a tailored quote. Our guide Where to Stay for the Serpentine Summer Party helps you choose the starting point.
