The Venice Biennale 2027 is the 20th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia: public opening from Saturday 8 May to Sunday 21 November 2027 at the Giardini and the Arsenale, pre-opening on 6 and 7 May for accredited press and professionals. Tickets are sold by La Biennale; accreditations cannot be bought from a third party. Art and architecture alternate from one year to the next: the 2026 International Art Exhibition runs until 22 November 2026, and art will return in 2028. TGZ Conciergerie, an independent house, composes the stay around it: accommodation, transport, boat, dinners and evenings, on bespoke quote.
Dates and organisation
The 20th International Architecture Exhibition opens to the public from Saturday 8 May to Sunday 21 November 2027, after a pre-opening on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 May. It is organised by La Biennale di Venezia, founded in 1895, and entrusted to the architects Wang Shu and Lu Wenyu.
Art and architecture alternate: the 2026 International Art Exhibition runs until 22 November 2026, and the 62nd International Art Exhibition will take place in 2028, on dates La Biennale has not yet published.

Tickets and accreditations
Tickets are sold by La Biennale, on its website and at its ticket offices at the Giardini and the Arsenale. The pre-opening is reserved for accredited press, professionals and, under La Biennale's conditions, holders of certain of its supporter cards.
TGZ Conciergerie sells no accreditation and resells no tickets: we arrange the purchase of tickets in your name through La Biennale where possible. Our guide How to Visit the Venice Biennale? details each way in.
Stay and journeys
Castello puts the Giardini and the Arsenale a few minutes away; the Grand Canal and Dorsoduro bring the city and the foundations within reach; the Giudecca offers calm. The opening weeks, in May, are in high demand.
You arrive via Venice Marco Polo airport, then across the lagoon by water taxi, or by train to Santa Lucia station. Our guides Where to Stay During the Venice Biennale? and How to Get to the Venice Biennale? go into detail.

Dress and evenings
There is no dress code imposed for visiting the Biennale. Custom favours understated, practical elegance: comfortable shoes for the paths of the Giardini, the halls of the Arsenale and the city's bridges, a light layer for evenings on the water, something more formal for dinners. Receptions sometimes specify their dress on the invitation.
Pavilion and foundation receptions are held by invitation; we pass on requests where possible, without any guarantee, and create your own evening if you wish.
