The Venice Film Festival is the film festival of La Biennale di Venezia, eleven days every late summer on the Lido; the dates of the 84th edition, expected in late August – early September 2027, have not yet been published. Public tickets are sold by the Biennale, online, in the holder's name and non-transferable; invitations and accreditations are for it alone. TGZ resells no ticket: we buy your public tickets in your name and compose the stay around them — a hotel on the Lido or in Venice, boats, evening dress, dinners — on a quote.
The festival
The Venice International Film Festival is organised by La Biennale di Venezia. Born on 6 August 1932 on the terrace of the Hotel Excelsior, it is held on the Lido, at the Palazzo del Cinema and the neighbouring theatres; its 83rd edition took place from 2 to 12 September 2026.
For 2027, the Biennale has not yet published the dates. The 84th edition is expected in late August – early September; we update our guides as soon as they are announced.

The tickets
The Biennale sells tickets for some of the screenings, exclusively online, strictly personal and non-transferable. TGZ Conciergerie, an independent house, resells no ticket and sells no invitation or accreditation; we can buy your public tickets in your name, subject to availability. Our guide How to Attend the Venice Film Festival details each route.
The stay
The stay is composed around the festival: an address on the Lido or in Venice, tables held, a stylist, a boat with a skipper. Our guide Where to Stay for the Venice Film Festival compares the addresses, and our guide Venice Film Festival Dress Code prepares the looks.

The crossings
Venice Marco Polo receives all types of aircraft; the water taxi reaches the Lido in thirty to forty minutes, and the vaporetto links Venice to the Lido in around fifteen minutes. Our guide How to Get to the Venice Film Festival compares each option.

Not through us. Invitations are for the Biennale and the film crews to give; they are not sold, and we promise none.
It is the simplest way to go from one screening to the next on foot; Venice suits you if you are coming first for the city, a crossing away from the theatres. The Hôtel des Bains, closed since 2010, cannot be booked.
The Biennale recommends formal attire in the Sala Grande. In the evening, sober evening dress is a safe choice; bring a wrap for the boat home.
It is quoted individually, item by item: the address and category of the room, the length of stay, the flight, the boats, the days of stylist, the dinners, the size of the group, the timing of the booking. The price of public tickets is set by the Biennale.
