In short

The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe 2027 will take place in October, at ParisLongchamp racecourse, in the Bois de Boulogne; the race is traditionally run on the first Sunday of the month, and the exact day will be published by France Galop. It is a Group 1 flat race over 2,400 metres, run since 1920, within a racing weekend. France Galop sells tickets, hospitality and private boxes; some restaurants require smart dress, and custom is elegant. Guests stay in a Right Bank palace hotel or in western Paris; they arrive by car with a chauffeur, by shuttle from Porte Maillot or Porte d'Auteuil, or by jet to Le Bourget. TGZ Conciergerie composes the stay without reselling tickets.

01

The race

The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is a Group 1 flat race, run over 2,400 metres of turf, open to horses aged three and over, colts and fillies, geldings not being admitted. Created in 1920, it bears the name of the monument beneath which the Allies paraded in 1919.

It is run at Longchamp, a racecourse inaugurated in 1857 in the Bois de Boulogne and reopened in 2018 after its grandstand was rebuilt, traditionally on the first Sunday of October. Saturday opens the weekend; on Sunday, the Arc follows several other Group 1 races.

02

Tickets and hospitality

France Galop sells general admission, a reserved lawn and a grandstand facing the finish, a raised platform, a festive area on Sunday, as well as lounges, restaurants — including a panoramic table and a Michelin-starred table — and private boxes, on request. The 2027 offer will be published later.

TGZ resells no tickets: we source seats and hospitality on request, origin and conditions confirmed before any commitment. Our guide How to Attend the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe? compares each route.

03

Stay and logistics

Guests stay in a Right Bank palace hotel, in western Paris, or in a private apartment. They arrive by car with a chauffeur, by free shuttle from Porte Maillot or Porte d'Auteuil, by T2 tram, by jet to Le Bourget or by helicopter to the Paris heliport.
