How to Attend Art Basel Miami Beach?

Public tickets, Premium Passes, VIP cards: what can be bought, what is received, and how to prepare your fair days.

Last updated 5 October 2026 · 5 min read

In short

To attend Art Basel Miami Beach, the route open to everyone is the admission ticket, sold by Art Basel through its online ticket shop, in limited numbers, for the public days from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December 2026. The fair also sells Premium Passes, whose conditions it publishes. The VIP Days — Wednesday 2 December from 4pm and Thursday 3 December — are reserved for VIP cardholders: these cards are issued by Art Basel, through its VIP Relations team, and by exhibiting galleries, to their collectors and to professionals. They are named and cannot be bought. TGZ Conciergerie sells no VIP cards; we arrange the purchase of your tickets in your name where possible, and prepare your fair days.

01

Three ways in, and only one that can be freely bought

Art Basel Miami Beach works in two stages. First the VIP Days, on Wednesday 2 December 2026 from 4pm and Thursday 3 December, entered by VIP card; then the public days, from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December, 11am–6pm, entered with a ticket. In between, the fair offers Premium Passes, sold through its ticket shop.

This guide reviews each of these routes, what it requires and what it allows. One point from the outset: TGZ Conciergerie is an independent house, with no affiliation with Art Basel, its parent company MCH Group, or the exhibiting galleries, and with no official status. We sell neither VIP cards nor resold tickets: we arrange the purchase of tickets in your name through the fair's own ticket shop where possible, and we tell you when it is not possible.

The admission ticket: the route open to everyone

The admission ticket gives access to the fair during the public days. Art Basel sells it itself, through its online ticket shop, and states that availability is limited: it is wiser to see to it as soon as sales open rather than the day before the fair.

It is the simple route, and it is enough for a very fine visit: the same galleries, the same works, in aisles a little busier than during the VIP Days. We arrange the purchase of your tickets in your name where possible, then compose the day around them: arrival in the early afternoon or at opening, depending on your pace, drop-off as close as possible, lunch away from the fair, return at the time that suits you.

03

Premium Passes: an offer from the fair, in limited numbers

Art Basel also sells Premium Passes through its ticket shop. What they include — early access, services, associated programmes — is set and published by the fair for each edition; it may change from year to year, and they should not be confused with a VIP card.

If a Premium Pass suits your plans, we check its conditions with you at the time of your request, then arrange the purchase in your name through the fair's own ticket shop, while any remain. Origin and conditions are confirmed to you before any commitment.

04

The VIP card: what it is, who issues it

The VIP card opens the VIP Days of 2 and 3 December, along with a set of benefits determined by Art Basel. It is issued by the fair itself, through its VIP Relations team, and by exhibiting galleries, which send them to their collectors. It is named.

It must be said plainly: a VIP card cannot be bought. It comes from a relationship — with a gallery whose artists you follow, with the fair itself for the collectors, curators and professionals it knows. No serious concierge can sell one, and any offer of a "VIP card" or "VIP access" for sale should raise suspicion: either a confusion with a paid pass or, more seriously, a card in someone else's name, refused at the door.

If you are a collector and acquire from exhibiting galleries, it is to them that you should turn: they know your collection and alone decide on their invitations. TGZ plays no part in that choice.

05

Preparing your fair days

A successful day at the Miami Beach Convention Center is prepared like an appointment. We help you choose which sectors to see first — Galleries, Nova, Positions, Survey, Zero 10 — identify in advance the galleries and artists that matter to you, and plan breaks: the fair is vast, and attention tires faster than the legs.

Around the visit, we take care of everything that depends on us alone: a chauffeur who drops you off and collects you as close as possible, lunch booked away from the bustle, a return to the hotel before dinner. Art Basel also runs guided tours, with a partner, in several languages: admission is not included and must be arranged separately.

06

What you can experience without a VIP card — and it is a great deal

The week is not just the VIP Days. The satellite fairs — Design Miami, Art Miami, CONTEXT and others — sell their own tickets; museums and private collections welcome the public; the open-air exhibition in Collins Park is freely accessible. Our guide What to Do During Miami Art Week? maps it out.

In the evening, gallery dinners and collectors' receptions are by invitation: we pass on requests where possible, after reviewing the client's profile, without guarantee. And when no invitation comes, we create the evening — a private dinner in a villa, a table facing the bay, a private terrace. Many of our clients discover that the part of the week they remember never depended on a card.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Through Art Basel's online ticket shop, accessible from artbasel.com, which sells admission tickets and Premium Passes in limited numbers. Be wary of resellers: a ticket bought outside the fair's own ticket shop offers no assurance. TGZ resells no tickets; we arrange the purchase in your name, through the fair's own ticket shop, where possible.

No. VIP cards are issued by Art Basel and by exhibiting galleries, to their collectors and to professionals; they are named and are not for sale. TGZ does not sell them, does not issue them and promises none.

The Premium Pass is a paid offer from the fair, sold through its ticket shop, whose contents Art Basel publishes for each edition. The VIP card is not for sale: it is sent by the fair or by a gallery. The two do not give the same access; we check the published conditions with you before any purchase.

Wednesday 2 December 2026, from 4pm, and Thursday 3 December, according to Art Basel. The public days follow, from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December, 11am–6pm.

We can pass on a request where possible, after reviewing the client's profile, without any guarantee: the decision rests with the gallery hosting it. We tell you early what is realistic — and, if you wish, we create your own private dinner.

Yes, as soon as possible: Art Basel indicates limited availability. Hotels and chauffeurs for early December also go early; it is wiser to set everything in motion at the same time.
