How to Attend Art Monte-Carlo?

Public-day tickets, invitation-only private view, conversations: what can be bought, what is received, and how to prepare your days at the fair.

Last updated 6 October 2026 · 5 min read

In short

To attend Art Monte-Carlo, the route open to everyone is the admission ticket, sold online by the fair, for the public days from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 April 2027 at the Grimaldi Forum. In 2026, ticketing went through the booking link published on the fair's page on the Grimaldi Forum website. The private view, which opened the 2026 edition the evening before, is by invitation: invitations are sent by the fair and by the exhibiting galleries to their collectors and to professionals, and cannot be bought. TGZ Conciergerie sells no invitations; we arrange the purchase of your tickets in your name where possible, and prepare your days at the fair.

Two moments, and only one route that can be freely bought

Art Monte-Carlo works in two moments. First the private view, held in 2026 on the evening before the opening, by invitation only; then the public days — from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 April in 2027 — when you enter with a ticket, sold by the fair.

This guide reviews each of these routes, what it requires and what it allows. One point from the outset: TGZ Conciergerie is an independent house, with no affiliation with Art Monte-Carlo, its organiser Palexpo, the Informa group, the Grimaldi Forum or the exhibiting galleries, and with no official status. We sell neither invitations nor resold tickets: we arrange the purchase of tickets in your name where possible, and we tell you when it is not possible.

The admission ticket: the route open to everyone

The admission ticket gives access to the fair during the public days, curated section included. It is sold online; in 2026, the fair and the Grimaldi Forum pointed to the same ticket shop. The conditions for the 2027 edition will be published by the organiser: it is wise to see to it as soon as sales open.

It is the simple route, and it is enough for a very fine visit: the same galleries, the same works, in a fair on a human scale where you move about without crowds. We arrange the purchase of your tickets in your name where possible, then compose the day around it: lunch by the sea, arrival at opening time, drop-off at the entrance, return at the time that suits you.

03

The private view: what it is, who invites

The private view brings together collectors, the press and the galleries' guests before the public opening. In 2026 it was held on the Tuesday evening, by invitation only. The 2027 date and arrangements have not yet been published.

It must be said plainly: an invitation to the private view cannot be bought. It comes from a relationship — with a gallery whose artists you follow, with the fair itself for the collectors and professionals it knows. No serious concierge can sell one, and any offer of "VIP access" for sale should raise suspicion: either a confusion with an ordinary ticket or, worse, an invitation in someone else's name, refused at the door.

If you are a collector who acquires from exhibiting galleries, it is to them that you should turn: they alone decide their invitations. TGZ plays no part in that choice.

04

Preparing your days at the fair

In 2026, the public days opened in the afternoon, until early evening. This rhythm leaves the mornings free: a walk along the Larvotto, one of the city's galleries, a museum, an unhurried lunch. We help you choose what to see first — the galleries that matter to you, the curated section, a programme conversation — and plan a second visit if a work holds your attention.

Around the visit, we handle what depends on us alone: a chauffeur who drops you off and picks you up at the Grimaldi Forum, a table reserved for dinner, a return to the hotel to change. If you acquire a work, its transport is a matter for the gallery and its shippers; we are happy to coordinate delivery appointments with your diary, without taking part in the transaction.

05

What can be experienced without an invitation — and it is a great deal

The fair is not just the private view. The programme conversations take place during the public days; in 2026, Monaco Art Week opened the doors of galleries and auction houses in several districts at the same time; the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco welcomes the public at the Villa Paloma. Our guide What to Do During Art Monte-Carlo in Monaco? maps it out.

In the evening, gallery dinners and collectors' receptions are held by invitation: we pass on requests where possible, after reviewing the client's profile, without any guarantee. And when no invitation comes, we create the evening — a private salon, a table facing the sea, a villa rented for entertaining. Many of our clients discover that a large part of the stay never depended on an invitation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Online, through the ticket shop indicated by the fair; in 2026, the Grimaldi Forum page also pointed to it. Be wary of resellers: a ticket bought elsewhere offers no assurance. TGZ resells no tickets; we arrange the purchase in your name, where possible.

No. Invitations are sent by the fair and by the exhibiting galleries to their collectors and to professionals; they are not for sale. TGZ does not sell them, does not issue them and promises none.

The date has not yet been published. In 2026, it was held on the evening before the public opening, by invitation. We will keep you informed as soon as the organiser announces it.

In 2026, the curated section was part of the fair and could be visited during the public days. We check the conditions of the 2027 edition with you, as published by the organiser, before any purchase.

We can pass on a request where possible, after reviewing the client's profile, without any guarantee: the decision rests with the hosting gallery. We tell you early what is realistic — and, if you wish, we create your own private dinner.

It is wise to see to it as soon as sales open. The fair remains on a human scale, but sought-after addresses and evening tables go early during these days: better to set everything in motion at once.
