To attend the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, the simplest route is the public day on Sunday at Villa Erba, in Cernobbio: a ticket sold online by the organisers opens the park, the display of the Concorso cars and the afternoon parade in front of the jury and the public. On Saturday, Villa Erba also hosts a gathering of clubs, by ticket. The Saturday at Villa d'Este — the judging, the parade on the terrace, the Coppa d'Oro — remains largely reserved for participants, their guests and the press; the organisers open a limited number of packages for it, some linked to a stay at the hotel. 2027 sales are announced for late 2026. The Concorso has two faces. On Saturday, at Villa d'Este, it is the concours itself: the jury, the public vote, the parade on the terrace facing the lake. On Sunday, at Villa Erba, it is the public day: the same cars, displayed in a larger park, and a second parade in the afternoon. The first is rare; the second is open to anyone with a ticket.

The Sunday at Villa Erba
The public day opens at 9.30am and continues until 6pm. The Concorso cars are on display from opening time; visitors vote for the design award for concept cars and prototypes, and the youngest for the Trofeo dei Ragazzi. From 1.30pm to around 5.30pm, the cars parade in front of the jury and the public, up to the presentation of the class awards and the Prix d'Honneur.
Around them, special exhibitions, craftspeople at work, a space for children, places to have lunch. It is the surest way to see all the cars. We source your tickets on request and arrange the drop-off: parking is scarce in Cernobbio.
The Saturday at Villa d'Este
On Saturday, from 9am, the cars are displayed in the park of Villa d'Este and examined by the jury; the public votes for the Coppa d'Oro. From 2pm to 5pm, they parade one by one on the terrace, in front of the jury and the guests, up to the awards presentation. The gate opens at 9.30am to day visitors holding access.
The organisers say so themselves: this day remains largely reserved for participants, the press and their guests. They open a limited number of packages for it, including a « Friend of Concorso » package linked to a stay at the hotel in recent editions. We watch for their opening and source them when they exist; when none are left, we tell you so, rather than make promises.
The Saturday at Villa Erba
On Saturday, from 10am to 3pm, Villa Erba hosts a gathering of clubs and enthusiasts from many countries, open to all marques and all eras. An auction is also held there at the end of the day, preceded by a display of the cars on offer.
It is another way to spend the Saturday, more relaxed, a short walk from Villa d'Este. Tickets sold online by the organisers; we source them on request.
Showing a car: what can be done, and what cannot
Concorso cars are not entered the way one buys a ticket: they are selected by the organisers, by application, class by class. Each year, only some fifty are accepted.
Let us say it plainly: we can neither submit an application on your behalf, nor influence the selection, nor bring you into the moments reserved for participants. If your car is accepted, we will gladly compose the stay around it — accommodation, chauffeur, dinners — for you and those close to you.
