How to Attend the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz?
Public area, grandstand, heated tent, gala dinner: what the organiser offers, what can be sourced on request, and what cannot be bought.

To attend the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz, a ticket is required from the age of sixteen. The organiser, Evviva Polo St. Moritz AG, offers four types: general admission, for the public area by the lake; unreserved grandstand seats, with a blanket and a glass of champagne; VIP tickets, which open the heated tent, a seated lunch and a reserved grandstand; and tickets for Saturday's gala dinner, which do not include the matches. Thursday's practice matches are free to attend. The after-party, the partners' dinners and the players' presentation are by invitation only. TGZ resells no tickets: we source seats on request, origin and conditions confirmed before any commitment.
The short answer: four ways to watch the polo
Unlike many major events, the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz is widely open to the public: the village set up by the lake welcomes every ticket holder, and Thursday's practice matches are free. What sets the options apart is comfort — a seat, a blanket, a heated tent, a seated lunch — and where you sit in relation to the ground.
The choice therefore depends on how you would like to spend the day: a few hours in the open air, a whole day in the warm between matches, or a gala evening. The table below summarises the offer published by the organiser.
| Option | What it includes | Suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Practice matches (Thursday) | Free entry to the grandstand, food on site | Discovering the site the day before, at leisure |
| General admission | Public area, entertainment, exhibitors' tents, food à la carte; free for under-16s | An unhurried visit, with family |
| Grandstand seats | Unreserved seat, blanket, glass of champagne, canapés | Following the matches seated, close to the play |
| VIP ticket | Heated tent, seated lunch, wines and champagne, cigar lounge, VIP grandstand with blanket | A whole day by the lake, in the warm |
| Gala ticket (Saturday) | Cocktails, black-tie gala dinner, after-party; matches not included | The evening of the tournament |

The public area and the grandstand
General admission opens the tournament village: entertainment, exhibitors' tents, stalls run by local chefs where food is served à la carte. The matches are watched standing, at the edge of the ground, moving freely between periods. For a first visit, with family or for a few hours, it is often the right choice.
The grandstand adds a seat — unreserved — a blanket and a glass of champagne. It suits those who want to follow the matches at length without spending the day in the tent. Either way, clothing makes half the comfort: our guide What Is the Dress Code at the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz? explains how to dress for several hours on the ice.
The VIP tent: a whole day by the lake
The VIP ticket changes the nature of the day. The heated tent opens in late morning; lunch is served seated, with wines and champagne, a cigar lounge draws out the afternoon, and a reserved grandstand, blankets provided, faces the ground for the matches. You move between the warmth and the open air with the rhythm of the play.
These tickets are limited in number and are booked early, particularly for Saturday and for Sunday's final. We source them on request, subject to availability, telling you their origin and conditions before any commitment; if going directly to the organiser is simpler, we will tell you so.

The gala dinner and the invitation-only evenings
On Saturday evening, cocktails followed by a black-tie gala dinner bring together players, partners and guests; a separate ticket gives access, together with the after-party that follows. This ticket does not include the matches. We source seats on request, subject to availability, origin and conditions confirmed.
Other moments of the tournament are by invitation only: the players' presentation on Thursday, the fondue dinner that follows it, the partners' dinners on Friday. These invitations are not for sale, and we do not sell them. What we do arrange are the evenings around them: a reserved table in the village, a private dinner at the chalet, a salon for your guests.
Choosing your days
Friday opens the tournament with three matches and a ranking that sets the semi-finals; Saturday, a busy day, combines matches, the Schlitteda and the gala; Sunday turns all attention to the final, scheduled for 14:30. Many of our clients arrive on Thursday, discover the site at the practice matches, and spend the three days by the lake without hurry.
For a short stay, Saturday and Sunday are enough; for hosting, Friday leaves more room in the restaurants and on the pistes. Our guide Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz: The Complete Guide places these choices within the stay as a whole.

Key points
Access to the matches is through the organiser's tickets: general admission, grandstand, VIP, gala. Thursday's practice matches are free; invitation-only evenings cannot be bought. TGZ Conciergerie, an independent house with no affiliation to Evviva Polo St. Moritz AG and no official status, resells no tickets: we source seats on request, origin and conditions confirmed before any commitment, and compose the whole stay around them.
