How to Attend Watches and Wonders in Geneva?
Professional days, public weekend, In The City: what can be bought, what is received, and how to prepare your salon day.
Last updated 6 October 2026 · 5 min read
To attend Watches and Wonders, the route open to all is the public weekend ticket, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 April 2027, sold by the organiser only online. This ticket is named: it requires personal details and an identity photo at purchase, its QR code is strictly personal, and an identity document is requested at the entrance. The professional days, which open on Monday 5 April, are reserved for accredited journalists, retailers and clients invited by the exhibiting houses: this access cannot be bought. The In The City programme, in the city centre, is open to all. TGZ Conciergerie sells no professional access; we arrange the purchase of your tickets in your name where possible, and prepare your day.
Two phases, and only one route that can be freely bought
Watches and Wonders works in two phases. First the professional days, from Monday 5 April 2027, entered by accreditation or by invitation from a house; then the public weekend, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 April, entered with a named ticket sold online by the organiser.
This guide reviews each of these routes, what it requires and what it allows. One point from the outset: TGZ Conciergerie is an independent house, with no affiliation with the Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation, with Palexpo or with the exhibiting houses, and no official status. We sell neither professional badges nor resold tickets: we arrange the purchase of tickets in your name through the organiser's ticket shop where possible, and we tell you when it is not possible.
| Type of access | Who issues it | Days | What TGZ can do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Named public ticket | The organiser, online only | Public weekend, 9 – 11 April | Arrange the purchase in your name, subject to availability |
| Professional accreditation | The organiser, for press and retailers | Professional days, from 5 April | Nothing: it depends on your profession, and we issue none |
| Invitation from a house | The exhibiting houses, to their clients | Professional days | Nothing: it is not for sale; we organise the stay around it |
| In The City | Programme open to all | Throughout the week, city centre | Compose your days, book the activities that require it |

The public ticket: the route open to all
The public weekend ticket gives access to the salon, at Palexpo. The organiser sells it itself, on its website, and only online: there are no sales on site, and no bookings by telephone or email. In 2026, sales opened in February; the 2027 conditions will be published by the organiser, and it is wise to act as soon as they open.
This ticket is named. At purchase, the organiser asks for personal details and an identity-document-format photo; the QR code received is strictly personal and cannot be transferred, and an identity document is required at the entrance. Children under 12 must be registered and accompanied by an adult. This is why a ticket bought from a third party offers no assurance: it carries someone else's name and face.
We arrange the purchase of your tickets in your name, with your details, where possible, then compose the day around it: arrival at opening time or early in the afternoon according to your pace, drop-off as close to Palexpo as possible, lunch, a return to the centre at the time that suits you.
The professional days: what they are, who gets in
The professional days are the historic heart of the salon: the houses present their new creations to the retailers who will sell them, to the journalists who will describe them, and to clients they have chosen to invite. In 2026, the organiser expected some 1,700 journalists and more than 6,000 retailers.
It must be said plainly: this access cannot be bought. Accreditation depends on your professional activity; an invitation, on your relationship with a house. No serious concierge can sell it, and any offer of a "badge" or "VIP access" for sale should raise suspicion.
If you are a client of a house and would like to discover its new creations during these days, it is to the house — your boutique, your adviser — that you should turn: it alone decides on its invitations. TGZ plays no part in that choice; we do, however, organise the whole stay around your appointment.

Preparing your salon day
A successful day at Palexpo is prepared like an appointment. We help you choose what to see first — the houses that matter to you, the spaces devoted to the crafts and to innovation —, identify in advance the new creations that have been announced, and plan breaks: the salon is vast, and attention tires faster than legs.
Around the visit, we take care of what depends on us alone: a chauffeur who drops you off and picks you up as close as possible, a lunch booked away from the bustle, a return to the hotel before dinner. The public weekend is often very busy: arriving early, or choosing the Sunday, can change the visit.
What can be experienced without a badge — and it is a great deal
The week is not just about the professional days. The In The City programme can be explored freely in the centre of Geneva: artisans' demonstrations, introductory workshops, guided tours of the watchmaking heritage, talks, evening concerts on the quays. The houses' boutiques in town also welcome the public. Our guide What to Do During Watches and Wonders Week in Geneva? maps it out.
In the evening, the houses' dinners and receptions are held by invitation: we pass on requests where possible, after reviewing the client's profile, without guarantee. And when no invitation comes, we create the evening — a private salon, a table beside the lake, a house rented for entertaining. Many of our clients discover that a large part of the week never depended on a badge.

Only on the organiser's website, watchesandwonders.com: no sales on site, by telephone or by email.
