The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2027 takes place from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 July, in the park of Goodwood House, near Chichester, in West Sussex: a hillclimb of about 1.9km, open paddocks, a rally stage in the woods, a concours d'elegance. Goodwood sells its tickets — general sale in November 2026 — and its hospitality packages, already open; the Kinrara Pavilion remains for members of the Goodwood Road Racing Club. You arrive by helicopter at the estate's aerodrome, by train to Chichester, or by car with a chauffeur. TGZ Conciergerie composes the stay — tickets or hospitality sourced on request, accommodation, journeys — without reselling any ticket.
The festival
The Festival of Speed was created in 1993 to bring motorsport back to Goodwood, where it had ceased in 1966. Every July, cars and motorcycles from every era run up the hill in the park, past Goodwood House, from 8.30am into the evening; Sunday closes with the Timed Shoot-Out.
Around the hill: the Forest Rally Stage in the woods, the paddocks open to the public, the concours d'elegance on the lawn, the Central Feature in front of the house. From 17 to 19 September 2027, the estate also hosts the Goodwood Revival, a separate event devoted to historic racing.
Tickets, hospitality and the club
The day ticket opens the park; a separate pass opens the twelve public grandstands. Goodwood sells its hospitality packages — Library Lawn Garden Party, The Kennels Dining Room, Clark, Surtees, Trackside Pavilions — and reserves the Kinrara Pavilion for members of its club, membership of which goes through a waiting list.
TGZ resells no tickets: we source tickets and hospitality on request, origin and conditions confirmed before any commitment. Our guide How to Attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed? compares each route.
Stay and logistics
You stay on the estate — The Goodwood Hotel, Hound Lodge, a cottage — in a West Sussex country house, in Chichester or in London. You arrive by helicopter at Goodwood Aerodrome, by train to Chichester then by shuttle, or by car with a chauffeur along the signposted route.
