For the Monaco Yacht Show, the right address is the one that brings you closer to Port Hercule, where the show is held. The Hôtel Hermitage, a Belle Époque palace hotel built between 1890 and 1896, overlooks the port: you walk down to the quays. The Hôtel de Paris, opened in 1864 opposite the Casino and renovated in 2019, and the Hôtel Métropole, an 1889 house in the Carré d'Or, are a few minutes away. A staffed villa on the Riviera suits a family or a group, with a chauffeur for the journeys. The golden rule: stay close to the port
The show is held on the quays of Port Hercule, between La Condamine and Monte-Carlo. The Hôtel Hermitage: above the port
The Hôtel Hermitage was built between 1890 and 1896 by the architect Jean Marquet, in the Belle Époque style, on Square Beaumarchais, on the heights overlooking Port Hercule. Its winter garden is crowned by a glass and metal dome made with Gustave Eiffel. Rooms are divided between views of the port and the Rock and views of the town; the hotel is connected to the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo.
During the show, it is the address right above the quays: they lie just below. We request a port-side room, depending on the hotel's category and availability, without promising a specific room.
The Hôtel de Paris: Place du Casino
The Hôtel de Paris opened in 1864, opposite the Casino. It reopened in 2019 after more than four years of works, which reimagined the rooms and suites while keeping the façade on the square and the marble hall. Beneath the square lies a cellar dug into the rock in 1874; guests have access to the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo.
It is the address for those who want the heart of Monte-Carlo, its tables and its evenings, a few minutes from the port. We request the category and orientation you prefer — square side, sea side — depending on the hotel's availability.
The Hôtel Métropole: the Carré d'Or
The Hôtel Métropole was built in 1889, a few steps from the Casino, behind a Belle Époque façade; its interiors were designed by Jacques Garcia. The house has a spa of around 2,000 m² and a heated seawater pool.
More intimate than the grand houses on the square, it is the address for a calm stay, with a pool to end the day after the pontoons. The port can be reached in a few minutes, on foot or by car.
A villa on the Riviera: coming as a group
For a family, a group or a stay where you entertain — a buyer and their advisers, for example —, a staffed villa on the Riviera offers what a hotel does not: a lounge to discuss a project in peace, a terrace for a dinner, the discretion of an address that is not public.
