Yachts, Beaches and Evenings During Cannes Lions
A yacht for meetings, a beach for lunch, a villa for dinner: how to host during the week.
Last updated 5 October 2026 · 3 min read
During Cannes Lions, a large part of the week plays out outside the Palais: companies host their clients on yachts moored in the port or at anchor in the bay, on beaches along the Croisette privatised for a lunch or a late afternoon, in villas in the hills or on terraces for dinners. These venues are booked early, often months in advance, and are privatised according to availability and the rules of each port or establishment. Evenings organised by other companies are by invitation of their host: they cannot be bought. TGZ Conciergerie organises your own reception venues — yacht, beach, villa, dinner — on quote.
Hosting, rather than being hosted
In Cannes in June, many useful meetings are not held in a conference room, but around a table or on the deck of a boat. Companies that come as a delegation meet their clients, their partners and their teams there.
Our role: to give you the venue, and everything that makes it work — the crew or staff, the caterer, the welcome, security, transfers —, so that all you have to do is host. Our Corporate page sets out more broadly how we support companies.

Venues for hosting, compared
The table below summarises the formats often requested. No venue is named: each availability is checked case by case, for the week.
| Format | What for | Indicative capacity | What you need to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yacht in the port | Meetings and receptions a few steps from the Palais | Depending on the size of the yacht | Berths in the port in high demand; rules for receptions on board set by the port |
| Yacht at anchor | Quiet lunches and dinners, in the bay or off the Lérins Islands | Depending on the size of the yacht | Tender for the round trips; weather-dependent |
| Privatised beach | Lunch, late afternoon, delegation reception | A few dozen to several hundred guests | Privatisations for the week booked early |
| Villa in the hills | Client dinners, private receptions | From a single table to a reception | Chef, service and security to plan; neighbours to respect |
| Privatised terrace or room | Delegation dinner, working table | Depending on the venue | In town or in the hinterland |
The yacht: a lounge on the water
A crewed yacht makes it possible to hold meetings away from the crowds, to have lunch at anchor, to host in the evening and, sometimes, to stay on board. Moored in the port, it is a few steps from the Palais; at anchor, a tender handles the round trips.
We source the yacht according to the size of the delegation, the number of guests and the use — meetings, receptions, accommodation —, then the crew, the caterer and the welcome. Berths in the port for the week and the rules for receptions on board are a matter for the port: we tell you early what is possible.

Privatised beaches
During the week, the beaches of the Croisette turn into reception venues: companies privatise them for a lunch, a late afternoon or an evening. These privatisations are booked very early, sometimes from one edition to the next.
When a full privatisation is not possible, other formats exist: a reserved area for a delegation lunch, a table held every day at the same time, a more secluded beach, on the Cap d'Antibes or towards Golfe-Juan. We offer you what is genuinely available.
Dinners and evenings
In the evening, the week changes setting. We hold tables in town, privatise a terrace or a room, or compose a dinner in a villa: chef, sommelier, art direction, seating plan, discreet security, night-time returns for each guest.
Evenings organised by other companies are by invitation of their host: we do not sell them and do not promise them. Any offer of a “place” at a private evening should arouse suspicion.

A typical day
An indicative example, to be adapted to your diary: delegation breakfast at the villa; a morning at the Palais for the talks; client lunch on a privatised beach; afternoon meetings on board a yacht in the port; dinner in a villa in the hills; a night-time return for each guest. Each step is held together by a single point of contact.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, depending on the week's availability and on berths in the port or at anchor. We source the yacht, the crew, the caterer and the welcome; the rules for receptions on board are a matter for the port. Each yacht is the subject of a quote, with conditions confirmed before any commitment.
It is possible subject to availability, but privatisations for the week are booked very early. When they are no longer possible, we offer other formats: a reserved area, a daily table, a more secluded beach.
They are by invitation of their host and cannot be bought. We do not sell them and do not promise them; we do, however, organise your own receptions.
As soon as possible, ideally in the autumn for late June. Sought-after yachts, beaches and villas often go several months before the festival.
The festival imposes no dress code. The custom is summer elegance, professional by day, dressier in the evening; on board a yacht, plan for shoes suited to the deck. Invitations sometimes specify their dress code.
We organise the welcome, transfers and logistics for your guests; the guest list and the invitations remain yours. We respect the confidentiality of your guests and of your conversations.
