The Belvedere sits above Chora, a short walk from the lanes of town. Around the hotel pool, Matsuhisa Mykonos has served chef Nobu Matsuhisa's cooking since 2003 — the first Matsuhisa to open in Europe. People come for the house's New Style Japanese, prepared here with Aegean fish, and for the light fading slowly over the white town.
Since 2023 an open-air omakase counter on the terrace has seated around ten guests per service. The rest of the dining room spreads beneath the trees and along the water, without fuss. In high season, the early-evening tables go first.
TGZ is an independent house with no link to the hotel or the Matsuhisa group. We pass on your request — often successfully for the hour you want — and tell you plainly when the house is full.

No, the restaurant also welcomes outside guests, space permitting. Hotel guests are often seated first in high season.
