Castel
Jean Castel opened his club at 15 Rue Princesse in 1962. Saint-Germain-des-Prés soon made it a habit: dinner upstairs, then down to the club, and a long night. The place has carried several generations without changing address.
Castel is a private club: entry is for members and the people they invite. There are small salons, a dining room and a dance floor below, in a hushed setting.
TGZ is an independent house with no connection to the club. According to the house's rules, we can request an invitation or a table at dinner; we sell no entry and tell you plainly when the answer is no.
