Silencio opened in 2011 at 142 Rue Montmartre, in the basements of the building where the newspaper L'Aurore was once printed. The filmmaker David Lynch designed the spaces: a small cinema, a curtained stage, a bar, a dance floor, gold-leaf walls and very low light.
Before midnight, the club is for members and their guests: screenings, concerts, talks. After midnight it opens to the public, with resident and guest DJs. The atmosphere comes from the setting more than the volume, and the room never feels crowded early in the night.
TGZ is independent of the club. According to the house's rules, we can request an invitation to the members' evening or a table for the night; we tell you when it is not possible.
