Attending a New York Fashion Week show: the legitimate route

There is no such thing as a show ticket — there are invitations, and an honest way of pursuing them. Here is ours, and the day we compose around it.

Your show day, composed hour by hour

A seat in the room represents only a few minutes of a show — the rest of the day is built. This is how we compose each sequence, from the invitation search to the last drink.

01

The invitation search, through legitimate channels

Everything begins with a profile consultation: your relationship with the designers, your realistic expectations, your dates. On that basis, we approach our partners — brands, showrooms, agencies and private networks — to pursue an invitation where possible, subject to availability and subject to validation by the brand, which remains the sole decision-maker. We sell nothing, promise nothing, and keep you informed at every step: a clear answer, even a negative one, is worth more than false hope. Our guide How to attend New York Fashion Week sets out every route in, without varnish.

02

Styling & preparation in your suite

A show is also lived in the eyes of others: street style is photographed on the pavements outside as intently as the collections inside. Our stylist prepares your look in advance — piece selection, fittings in your suite, express alterations, a coat that holds up to February — in dialogue with the codes of the designer receiving you, without ever tipping into costume. Hair and make-up in your rooms complete the preparation, timed to the exact hour of your drop-off. Our New York Fashion Week dress code guide details the week's conventions, show by show.

03

Minute-by-minute chauffeur & relay car

The shows run back to back across Manhattan — lofts and galleries in SoHo and Tribeca, studios in Chelsea or the Meatpacking District, Midtown addresses, by way of illustration — and crosstown journeys are the slow ones. Your dedicated chauffeur, booked by the day, follows a minute-by-minute route sheet: validated itineraries, covered drop-offs as close as possible, collections anticipated. On the dense days, a second car is held in relay; between close addresses downtown, walking is often quicker. Our guide How to get around during New York Fashion Week details this machinery.

04

The considered plan B

When no invitation is confirmed for your dates, we tell you early — and compose a day that is anything but a consolation: presentations and showroom visits by appointment, private boutique appointments on Madison Avenue or in SoHo with the brands' teams, subject to availability, a gallery afternoon in Chelsea where conditions allow, lunch at the tables fashion favours. Many of our clients discover that Fashion Week is lived at least as much in private salons as in the show venues — our Personal shopping during New York Fashion Week page gives the measure of it.

05

After the show: tables & evenings

The day does not end with the final look. We reserve your evening table — The Polo Bar, Torrisi, The Nines or Le Bernardin, by way of illustration, or Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle for a late drink — then extend the night towards the after-parties of designers and brands, where access remains by invitation, subject to availability and after review of the client's profile, with no promise. Chauffeur and security follow the same tempo, until your return to your suite. Our New York Fashion Week after-parties page details these options, including that of creating your own evening when the invitation does not come.

Why TGZ

Why entrust your show day to TGZ

Because a show day is a choreography, not a booking. A single point of contact approaches the legitimate channels, sets the styling, the chauffeur, the relay car, the lunch and the evening table, then synchronises it all, to the minute, with the show's schedule. The addresses change every season, timings slip, invitations sometimes arrive the night before: we absorb that uncertainty so that you feel none of it.

Because you are owed the truth before the dream. TGZ Conciergerie is independent, with no affiliation to the CFDA, to any fashion house or brand, or to the organisers of New York Fashion Week shows and events, and no official status. Invitations are nominative, non-transferable and issued by the designers and brands: we sell none and never promise any. We pursue them through our partners where possible, subject to availability and after review of the client's profile — and if access cannot be confirmed, we tell you early, with an alternative worthy of the occasion.

Because Fashion Week is decided in advance. The CFDA publishes its calendar only a few weeks before the edition, and it still moves afterwards, but invitation requests are worked on much earlier — as are the experienced stylists and chauffeurs. To refine your plans, our guide How to attend New York Fashion Week sets out the routes in, our New York Fashion Week schedule guide follows the edition's calendar, and our New York Fashion Week VIP page orchestrates the entire stay — before we build your bespoke quotation together.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

No. The shows on the CFDA calendar are professional, invitation-only events, with no public box office. Invitations are nominative, non-transferable and issued by the designers and brands: they are never sold, and any "show ticket" offered online deserves the utmost suspicion. In recent seasons, the CFDA has partnered with Rockefeller Center to let the public watch shows on screen — the open route. The other legitimate routes are private: TGZ approaches them where possible, subject to availability and subject to validation, with no promise.

Through legitimate channels only: our partners — brands, showrooms, agencies, private networks — approached after a profile consultation covering your existing relationship with the designers, your dates and your expectations. The request is then positioned with the right people, subject to availability and subject to validation by the brand, which remains the sole decision-maker. We tell you from the outset what is realistic for your dates — and we build the day accordingly, plan B included.

Seating at a show is decided by the brand alone: the front row follows a precise hierarchy — management, press, buyers, longstanding clients, the designer's guests — that no one can buy or negotiate from the outside. If an invitation is confirmed for you, the seating remains whatever the brand assigns, and we communicate it to you as it stands. Any promise of "front row" sold as a service should raise the same suspicion as a show ticket.

No. TGZ Conciergerie is an independent luxury concierge house, with no affiliation to the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America), to any fashion house or brand, or to the organisers of New York Fashion Week shows and events, and no official status. That is precisely why we never promise access: we pursue invitations through legitimate private channels where possible, and we orchestrate everything surrounding the day — styling, transport, tables, evenings — which depends on us alone.

As early as possible. The next edition takes place in February 2027, for the autumn-winter 2027 collections; the CFDA publishes the precise calendar only a few weeks beforehand, but requests are worked on much further upstream: our partners are approached weeks, sometimes months before the week itself. A late request remains possible, always subject to availability and subject to validation, but anticipation considerably widens what can be achieved.

We tell you early and compose an alternative worthy of the occasion: presentations and showroom visits by appointment, private boutique appointments subject to availability, a personal shopping day with privileged access where conditions allow, dinner at the tables fashion favours, a private evening created for you. Our guide How to attend New York Fashion Week sets out every route in honestly, and our New York Fashion Week VIP page composes the entire stay — with or without a seat in the room.
