Ascot, 1711

Out riding one day, Queen Anne noticed a stretch of heath near Windsor, ideal, she said, for horses galloping at full stretch. The first race was run there on 11 August that same year, with seven runners.

Three formats

Choose how far we go.

Three starting points, never three packages. The final composition is built from your brief.

Each format is assembled to measure. Availability, origin and conditions for every service are confirmed before you commit.

Where you will be

Four ways to be at the races.

The enclosure decides what you see, where you can go and what you wear. You enter with a ticket, a table or a private box.

Nothing is held in advance. Every option is sourced at your request, from the racecourse or authorised partners, and confirmed before you commit.

The day

From the bedroom to the Bandstand.

What a race day looks like, composed by us. The procession arrives at 2pm; the rest is prepared with you.

Morning
  1. Morning

    The attire

The morning coat is pressed, the hat waits in its box, the chauffeur is downstairs. You leave early: the roads fill up before noon.

  2. Midday

    Lunch

A table in one of the racecourse's restaurants, or your private box, depending on what has been confirmed for you. Then the course, in time for the procession.

  3. Afternoon

    The racing

Seven races from early to late afternoon. In between, tea; after the last, singing around the Bandstand.

  4. Evening

    Dinner

A private dinner at the house, or a table held for you in London or in the countryside. A reservation made weeks in advance.

  5. The night

    The house

The return is unhurried. Tomorrow, another race day; tonight ends when you decide.

Indicative example: every day is composed to measure, nothing is booked in advance, and tickets and hospitality are sourced on request, never resold.

How we work

All you have to do is watch the racing.

  1. 01

    A single point of contact

The same person follows your file from the first conversation to the last evening.

  2. 02

    End-to-end coordination

Access, address, journeys and attire are thought through together, not stacked.

  3. 03

    Candour from the start

We tell you early what is realistic, including when a door stays closed.

  4. 04

    Trilingual service

French, English, Spanish — for you as for your guests.

  5. 05

    Confidentiality

Names, amounts and programmes stay between us.

  6. 06

    Private or corporate

The same care, whether the request is personal or made on behalf of a company.

Your enquiry

Tell us about the experience you have in mind. A dedicated concierge will return with confirmable options tailored to your priorities.

TGZ Conciergerie is an independent house, with no official affiliation: we are connected neither with Ascot Racecourse, which organises Royal Ascot, nor with the Royal Family. We resell no tickets: enclosure tickets, hospitality restaurants and private boxes are sourced on request, from the racecourse or authorised partners, and their origin and conditions are confirmed to you before any commitment. Royal Enclosure membership and its guest badges rest on sponsorship by Members: we cannot obtain them. We compose the entire stay — accommodation, journeys, chauffeur, attire, evenings — with availability confirmed to you before any commitment.

Your enquiry

Your enquiry is read by one team. Never resold, never added to a mailing list. Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The detail

What to know before you ask.

It is reserved for its Members and their guests. Membership requires sponsorship by two Members and the approval of His Majesty's Representative at Ascot; we can neither obtain it nor work around it, nor obtain a guest badge. Some hospitality packages sold by the racecourse include Royal Enclosure admission for the day: we source them on request, subject to availability.

From Tuesday 15 to Saturday 19 June 2027. Thursday is Gold Cup day; the Village Enclosure opens only from Thursday to Saturday. Each day, the procession arrives at 2pm and seven races follow.

Morning dress and top hat, a hat or a headpiece with a minimum base diameter of 4 inches / 10cm in the Royal Enclosure; lounge suit and tie, hat, headpiece or fascinator in Queen Anne; jacket and tie or bow tie in the Village; no compulsory code in Windsor. The rules are checked at the entrance.

Train from Waterloo, chauffeur, helicopter to the helipad near the racecourse, jet to Farnborough: race-day traffic is planned for, and the arrival is timed around 2pm.

Frequently asked

Frequently asked questions

From Tuesday 15 to Saturday 19 June 2027, at Ascot Racecourse, in Berkshire, according to the calendar published by the racecourse. Each day, the Royal Procession arrives at 2pm, and seven races follow through the afternoon.

Not through membership: becoming a Member requires sponsorship by two Members and the approval of His Majesty's Representative at Ascot, and guests are admitted only with a Member. We can neither obtain it nor work around it. The racecourse does, however, sell some hospitality packages that include Royal Enclosure admission for the day; we source them on request, subject to availability, and the Royal Enclosure dress code applies.

We resell no tickets. When you would like an enclosure, a hospitality table or a private box, we source it on request, from the racecourse or authorised partners, and confirm its origin and conditions before any commitment. The racecourse sells its own tickets; when that is simpler, we will tell you so.

The Queen Anne Enclosure for the Parade Ring, the Grandstand and singing around the Bandstand, with a formal dress code; the Village Enclosure, from Thursday to Saturday, for a day with music in the centre of the course; the Windsor Enclosure for a picnic beside the Straight Mile, with no compulsory dress code. Our guide How to Attend Royal Ascot? compares them.

In a country house in Berkshire or Surrey, in a hotel in or around Windsor — Coworth Park or Cliveden House, cited for illustration — or in London, some fifty minutes away. Addresses close to the racecourse go early for the June week.

The stay is composed item by item: the enclosure or hospitality package, the number of days, the private box and the number of guests, accommodation, the mode of arrival, the days with a chauffeur, attire, and when you book. We prepare a bespoke quotation; availability and conditions are confirmed before any commitment.

You will remember the procession. The rest is ours to handle.

Tell us your days, how many of you there will be and how you would like to experience the racing — enclosure, table, private box, country house or London: we build a bespoke quotation, discreet and complete, subject to availability.
