How to Get to the Bal de la Rose in Monaco?
Nice airport, seven minutes by helicopter, a car waiting: the arrival in Monaco and the evening journey, thought through in advance.

For the Bal de la Rose, arrival is through Nice Côte d'Azur airport, on a scheduled or private flight. From there, two options: the helicopter, which reaches the Monaco heliport at Fontvieille in about seven minutes, or the road, some thirty kilometres, in forty-five minutes to an hour depending on traffic. On site, a dedicated chauffeur drives you to the Sporting Monte-Carlo, on avenue Princesse-Grace, for the doors opening at 8 pm, and waits for the return. In March, the weather can ground the helicopter: a fallback car is always planned. Each journey is quoted individually.
Arriving at Nice Côte d'Azur
Nice Côte d'Azur airport is the gateway to Monaco. It receives scheduled flights from major cities across the continent, as well as business aviation. From Paris, London or Geneva, a private flight is set to your schedule: arrival late on Friday, or on Saturday morning for a short stay.
We arrange the welcome on arrival, the transfer of luggage and the onward journey without waiting. A private flight is booked according to the availability of aircraft and slots; we tell you early what is realistic.

The helicopter: seven minutes to Fontvieille
The helicopter links Nice airport to the Monaco heliport, in the Fontvieille district, in about seven minutes. A scheduled line runs some fifty rotations a day; a private charter is booked at the hour that suits you. On arrival, a car takes you to your hotel.
It is the simple option for those arriving on the day or wishing to avoid the road. It depends on the weather: in March, strong wind or reduced visibility can suspend flights. We always plan a fallback car.
The road: a car with chauffeur
By road, Nice airport is some thirty kilometres from Monaco; the journey takes forty-five minutes to an hour depending on traffic, by the motorway or the coast road. A dedicated chauffeur waits for you at the exit, and remains at your disposal throughout the stay.
It is the option for groups, plentiful luggage — an evening gown travels better by car — and days of uncertain weather. The table below compares the options.
| Option | Indicative duration | For whom | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Helicopter, scheduled line | About 7 minutes | A quick arrival, light luggage | Frequent rotations, weather-dependent |
| Private helicopter | About 7 minutes | Your own timing, a small group | Booked in advance, fallback car planned |
| Car with chauffeur | 45 minutes to 1 hour | Groups, luggage, evening wear | Depending on traffic |

The night of the ball: there and back
The Sporting Monte-Carlo stands on avenue Princesse-Grace, in Larvotto. Doors open at 8 pm. From the Monte-Carlo palaces, the journey takes a few minutes; we set the departure time to match the guests' arrival, to avoid waiting.
The return is planned before the evening: the car waits, or comes back at the agreed hour. For those who wish to prolong the night, Jimmy'z, located at the Sporting, generally reopens its season in spring — in 2026, on 20 March; we request a table according to the club's rules, without promising anything.
During the weekend, and departure
Monaco can be explored on foot, but the terrain is steep: a chauffeur at your disposal simplifies Friday and Sunday — a lunch on the Riviera, a stroll on the Rock, an appointment in Nice. On the day of departure, we time the helicopter or the car to your flight.
