How to Get to Frieze London?
A direct Eurostar, three airfields for business aviation, a park north of the West End: in London, logistics are as much about arrival as about the evening journeys.

To reach Frieze London from Paris, the simple route is Eurostar, from Gare du Nord to St Pancras, in a little over two hours. By private jet, Farnborough, south-west of London, and London Biggin Hill, to the south-east, are dedicated to business aviation; London City, to the east, has a private terminal as close as possible to the city. Once there, Frieze London is in the south of The Regent's Park, less than five minutes' walk from Regent's Park station; Frieze Masters, in the north-east of the park, about ten minutes from Camden Town. A free shuttle links the two fairs, and a dedicated chauffeur handles the journeys between the park, the galleries and the dinners.
Arriving in London: Eurostar, plane, private jet
From Paris, Eurostar links Gare du Nord to London St Pancras International in about two and a quarter hours, centre to centre. It is often the simple route: you arrive north of central London, a short drive from Regent's Park and Marylebone.
By air, London's major airports offer many connections, at the cost of longer journeys into the centre. By private jet, three airfields stand out: Farnborough, entirely devoted to business aviation, about 67 kilometres to the south-west; London Biggin Hill, with no scheduled commercial flights, about 22 kilometres to the south-east; London City, to the east, near Canary Wharf, whose Private Jet Centre is the only private terminal located within London itself.
| Arrival | For whom | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Eurostar (London St Pancras) | Travellers from Paris | About two and a quarter hours; arrival north of the centre |
| Farnborough | Private jet | Airport dedicated to business aviation, to the south-west; road journey into the centre |
| London Biggin Hill | Private jet | Business aviation, to the south-east; road journey into the centre |
| London City | Private jet and commercial flights | Private terminal in the east of London, as close as possible to the city |

Choosing your airfield by private jet
The right airfield depends on your aircraft, your schedule and your address in London. Farnborough handles a wide range of aircraft and is reached by road; London Biggin Hill offers an alternative to the south-east; London City, the closest to the centre, imposes its own aircraft and timing constraints.
In mid-October, slots are in demand: booking is done early, and we compare aircraft and airfields according to your party, your schedule and the district where you are staying, with a chauffeur waiting for you at the foot of the aircraft.
Getting around during the week: Underground, walking and chauffeur
Frieze London is in the south of The Regent's Park, with an entrance on the Park Square West side: Regent's Park station is less than five minutes' walk away, and Baker Street and Great Portland Street are close by. Frieze Masters is on Gloucester Green, in the north-east corner of the park, about ten minutes' walk from Camden Town and Mornington Crescent. A free shuttle links the two fairs, roughly every fifteen minutes.
Parking in the park is very limited and coaches are not admitted. A dedicated chauffeur remains invaluable: dropping you as close as possible to the entrance, waiting between two appointments, taking you to the galleries of Mayfair or to the sale exhibitions, and handling the evening returns. The route sheet is reviewed every morning, with a fallback planned for each journey.

Organising a day between the park and the city
London is vast and its traffic variable: a successful day is planned in blocks. The fairs in the morning, lunch near the park or in Marylebone, the afternoon among the galleries of Mayfair and St James's, dinner a few minutes from the hotel. Between two nearby addresses, walking is often quicker than the car.
We build your week on this principle, around the fair days, the galleries and your dinners. Our guide Where to Stay During Frieze London? helps you choose the district; our guide What to Do During Frieze Week in London? helps you choose what matters.
Documents, luggage and acquired works
Crossing the Channel involves a passport check, whether departing on Eurostar or arriving on a flight: keep your travel documents with you, and let us know of any particular constraints for your guests. Large bags are not admitted to the fairs; your chauffeur can keep them.
If you acquire a work during the fair, its transport is a matter for the gallery and its shippers, under the applicable customs rules; we are happy to coordinate delivery appointments with your diary, without taking part in the transaction.
