Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 is held at the Miami Beach Convention Center: VIP Days on Wednesday 2 December, from 4pm, and Thursday 3 December, by VIP card; public days from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December, 11am–6pm. Tickets and Premium Passes are sold by Art Basel through its ticket shop, in limited numbers; VIP cards, which are named, are issued by the fair and by galleries and cannot be bought. The fair is organised by Art Basel, which belongs to MCH Group. Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 opens its VIP Days on Wednesday 2 December, from 4pm, and Thursday 3 December; the public days follow from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December, 11am–6pm. The fair is organised by Art Basel, founded in Basel in 1970 and owned by the Swiss group MCH Group; its Miami Beach edition has existed since December 2002.

Tickets and VIP cards
Admission tickets and Premium Passes are sold by Art Basel through its online ticket shop, in limited numbers. VIP cards, which open the days of 2 and 3 December, are issued by Art Basel and by exhibiting galleries to their collectors and to professionals; they are named and are not for sale.

Stay and journeys
South Beach puts the fair a few minutes away; Mid-Beach, Surfside and Bal Harbour offer more calm; a villa on the islands of the bay allows you to entertain. Everything is booked early for early December, often with a minimum stay.
You arrive at Miami International, or by private jet at Opa-locka or Fort Lauderdale. Miami Beach is linked to the mainland by a handful of causeways which the week saturates: a dedicated chauffeur and days grouped by shore make all the difference. Style and evenings
There is no set dress code at the fair. The custom is relaxed elegance, suited to Miami's warmth: light fabrics, comfortable shoes for the aisles, something more formal for the evening. Dinners and receptions sometimes specify their dress on the invitation.
Gallery dinners and collectors' receptions are by invitation; we pass on requests where possible, without guarantee, and create your own evening if you wish.
