The Hôtel de Paris opened in 1864, facing the Casino, as the Société des Bains de Mer was building Monte-Carlo. It reopened in 2019 after more than four years of work that reworked the rooms and suites while keeping the façade on the square and the marble lobby.
The hotel houses Le Louis XV and Le Grill and, beneath the square, a cellar cut into the rock in 1874. Guests have access to the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, close by. In the morning Casino Square is still quiet beneath the windows; in the evening it stays lively until late.
