Cavo Tagoo
Cavo Tagoo steps down a hillside north of Chora, above the sea, a few minutes from town. The hotel was built on a former quarry; its white volumes, terraces and infinity pool descend towards the water. The aquarium bar beneath the pool has remained one of its landmarks.
Most suites have a sea-facing terrace, many with a private pool. The main restaurant today is Meraki, Greek and Mediterranean dishes to share; Zuma has moved into a neighbouring building. The hotel runs seasonally, from spring to autumn.
TGZ is an independent house with no link to the hotel. We request the suite category and outlook you want — often successfully outside the height of August — and tell you plainly when the hotel is full.
