Opened in 1907 at Fifth Avenue and Central Park South, The Plaza has stood like a French château facing the park for over a century. A designated landmark, it has been owned by Katara Hospitality since 2018 and is managed by Fairmont.
The Palm Court, beneath its glass ceiling, serves afternoon tea and remains the heart of the house. The most requested suites look over Central Park; others, facing inward, suit a working stay better. Fifth Avenue, the park and Midtown are all walkable.
TGZ is not affiliated with the hotel. We choose the suite, aspect and floor with you, book tea at the Palm Court and arrange the rest of the stay; when a specific suite is unavailable, we say so and offer the closest equivalent.
