Torrisi opened in December 2022 on the ground floor of the Puck Building on Mulberry Street, where Nolita meets old Little Italy. Here Major Food Group returns to what made its name: Italian-American cooking taken seriously, starting from the neighbourhood's recipes and reworking them with care.
The room is tall, bright by day and hushed at night, with a bar by the door. The Michelin Guide has given it one star since 2023, renewed in the 2025 New York edition. Reservations open thirty days ahead on Resy and disappear within moments.

We try, often successfully, but without a promise: tables are the house's to give. The earlier you ask, the better the odds.
Thirty days ahead on Resy. They go very quickly, which is why it helps to give us the date early.
Online tables go up to six guests. Beyond that, we ask the house what is possible, without promising anything.
