Club 55
Club 55 has stood on Pampelonne beach, in Ramatuelle, since 1955. A beach restaurant first and foremost, it has kept a simple setting and a motto the house still displays: here the guest is not king, because the guest is a friend.
People come for a long lunch, feet almost in the sand, and for the constancy of a place run by the same family for decades. Patrice de Colmont, who ran it for more than fifty years, died in October 2025; the house reopened as usual for the 2026 season.
Lunch tables in July and August are booked well ahead. TGZ, an independent house, presents your request and often finds a table, according to the house's rules; on full days we say so plainly and suggest another day or another beach.
