Art Basel 2027 is held at Messe Basel, in Basel: Preview Days on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 June, by VIP card; public days from Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 June. Tickets are sold by Art Basel through its online ticket shop; VIP cards, which are named, are issued by the fair and by galleries and cannot be bought. The fair is organised by Art Basel, which belongs to MCH Group. TGZ Conciergerie, an independent house, composes the stay around it: accommodation, transport, chauffeurs, dinners and evenings, on bespoke quote.
Dates and organisation
Art Basel 2027 opens its Preview Days on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 June; the public days follow from Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 June. The fair is organised by Art Basel, founded in Basel in 1970 and owned by the Swiss group MCH Group; it also has editions in Miami Beach, Hong Kong and Paris.
Around it, the week brings together Unlimited, Parcours, satellite fairs — Liste opens on 14 June — the museums of the region and many dinners and evenings.
Tickets and VIP cards
Admission tickets are sold by Art Basel through its online ticket shop. VIP cards, which open the Preview Days of 15 and 16 June, are issued by Art Basel and by exhibiting galleries to their collectors and to professionals; they are named and are not for sale.

Stay and journeys
Kleinbasel puts the fair a few steps away; the Rhine and the old town, a few minutes. Basel is small and is booked very early for mid-June; Zurich, Alsace and the Freiburg im Breisgau area offer alternatives.

Style and evenings
There is no dress code imposed at the fair. Custom favours understated elegance suited to mid-June: light fabrics, comfortable shoes for the halls and for Parcours, a more formal piece for the evening, and something to cover up with if a summer storm passes over the Rhine. Dinners and receptions sometimes specify their dress on the invitation.
Gallery dinners and collectors' receptions are held by invitation; we pass on requests where possible, without any guarantee, and create your own evening if you wish.

EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, a few kilometres from the city, or Zurich, about an hour away; by private jet, the EuroAirport welcomes business aviation. From Paris, the direct TGV is often still the simple option.
