Art Basel 2027 in Basel: Stay, Fair & Private Evenings

What we arrange

  • 01A room on the Rhine or a house nearby
  • 02Fair days, foundations and museums
  • 03Train, private jet and chauffeur

An independent house · no affiliation with Art Basel or the galleries

A period bedroom with gilded panelling, a seascape on the wall.
The façade of a grand hotel lit up at night, wrought-iron balconies and pale shutters.

Basel, 1970

That year, a few of the city's gallerists decided to bring their peers, from elsewhere, into the halls of the Basel fairground. A city on the Rhine would grow used, every summer, to keeping time with art.

Three formats

What we compose around the fair.

Three starting points, never three packages. The final composition is built on your brief.

A salon beneath glass chandeliers, low light and pale banquettes.
03

Complete Programme

The whole week, orchestrated from start to finish, dinners and evenings included.

Start from this format

Each format is assembled to measure. Availability and conditions for each service are confirmed before any commitment.

Four areas

What we actually organise.

Four distinct areas of work, which can be taken separately or together. None of them consists of selling a VIP card.

Each area is composed on request and subject to availability. Nothing is booked in advance, nothing is sold from a catalogue.

The day

From the room to the last dinner.

What a day of the week looks like, composed by us. The evening programme only takes shape as the week approaches; the rest is prepared with you.

A bright bedroom with tall windows, in the morning light.
Morning
  1. Morning

    The room

Light on the river, the day's programme on the table. Your chauffeur waits downstairs, or the tram will do.

  2. Late morning

    The fair

Dropped off as close to the Messeplatz as possible. The galleries at your own pace, Unlimited next; lunch waits away from the crowd.

  3. Late afternoon

    The city

Parcours on foot in the nearby streets, or a foundation across the border. The itinerary has already decided.

  4. Evening

    Dinner

A table held for you, set apart, in the half-light. Often the first thing to be booked during the week.

  5. Later

    The party

A gallery dinner if the invitation is confirmed, or an evening created for you in a private salon. We only promise what is.

Indicative example: every day is composed to measure, nothing is booked in advance, and no VIP card is part of it.

How we work

All you have to do is look.

  1. 01

    A single point of contact

The same person follows your file from the first exchange to the last evening.

  2. 02

    End-to-end coordination

Address, fair days, journeys and evenings are planned together, not stacked one on another.

  3. 03

    Candour from the outset

We tell you early what is realistic, rather than late what was not.

  4. 04

    Trilingual service

French, English, Spanish — for you and for your guests.

  5. 05

    Confidentiality

Names, amounts and programmes stay between us.

  6. 06

    Private or corporate

The same care, whether the request is personal or made on behalf of a company.

Your enquiry

Tell us about the experience you have in mind. A dedicated concierge will return with confirmable options tailored to your priorities.

TGZ Conciergerie is an independent house, with no official affiliation: we are linked neither to Art Basel, nor its parent company MCH Group, nor the exhibiting galleries, nor the satellite fairs of the week. VIP cards are issued by Art Basel and by galleries, and are named: they are neither sold nor guaranteed, and we sell none. Tickets are sold by the fair; we can arrange their purchase in your name, subject to availability, without resale. Dinners and receptions by invitation are a matter for their hosts: we can pass on a request, without promise. We do, however, offer the entire stay, whose availability is confirmed to you before any commitment.

Your enquiry

Your enquiry is read by one team. Never resold, never added to a mailing list. Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The details

What to know before you ask.

VIP cards, which open the Preview Days of 15 and 16 June, are issued by Art Basel and by exhibiting galleries to their collectors: they are named, are not for sale, and we sell none. Tickets are sold by the fair itself, through its online ticket shop; we arrange their purchase in your name where possible, and never resell a ticket. Everything else is real and verifiable: the stay, the days, the journeys, the tables and the evenings.

Unlimited, Parcours in the streets, Liste and the other satellite fairs, the Fondation Beyeler, the Vitra Campus across the border: the week spreads across the whole region. Many of our clients find as much there as in the halls of Messe Basel.

The Preview Days, reserved for cardholders, take place on 15 and 16 June 2027; the public days from 17 to 20 June. We build the week starting from your type of access, then place satellite fairs, museums and evenings around it.

Basel is small and is booked very early for mid-June. When the city is full, Zurich, about an hour away by train, Alsace or the Freiburg im Breisgau area take over, with a chauffeur for the morning journeys and the evening returns.

Frequently asked

Frequently asked questions

Art Basel announces its Preview Days on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 June 2027, reserved for VIP cardholders, followed by public days from Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 June 2027, at Messe Basel. The week begins a little earlier: Liste, the fair devoted to emerging contemporary art, opens on 14 June.

No. VIP cards are issued by Art Basel — through its VIP Relations team — and by exhibiting galleries, to collectors, curators and professionals. They are named and are not for sale: any offer of a "VIP card" for sale should raise suspicion. Art Basel does, however, sell admission tickets through its online ticket shop. TGZ sells no VIP cards; we arrange the purchase of tickets in your name where possible. Our guide How to Attend Art Basel in Basel? details each route.

It is built element by element, and each one varies with your choices: the address and category of the room or suite (minimum stays are common during the week), whether you stay in Basel or nearby, the length of stay, the train, a commercial flight or a private jet, the number of chauffeur days, the format of your dinners and private evenings, the size of your party and how early you book. We prepare a bespoke quote; availability and conditions are confirmed before any commitment.

As close as possible: in Kleinbasel, around the fair, or beside the Rhine and in the old town, a few minutes away by tram or car. When Basel is full, Zurich, about an hour away by train, neighbouring Alsace or the Freiburg im Breisgau area, on the German side, offer alternatives, with a chauffeur for the journeys. Our guide Where to Stay During Art Basel in Basel? compares each option.

By train, the direct TGV links Paris to Basel station in about three hours. By air, EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is a few kilometres from the city, and Zurich about an hour away. By private jet, the EuroAirport has business aviation services. Our guide How to Get to Art Basel in Basel? details each option.

As soon as possible. Basel's rooms for mid-June go several months ahead, as do experienced chauffeurs and jet slots. A bespoke quote can nonetheless be prepared at any time, subject to availability at the time of the request.

You will keep the works in mind. The rest is ours to handle.

Share your dates, your wishes and the days that matter to you — the fair, the satellite fairs, museums, evenings: we build a bespoke quote, discreet and complete, subject to availability.
