That year, Italy's furniture makers opened a fair in Milan to show what the country could make. A city would grow used, every spring, to keeping time with design.

What we actually organise.
Four distinct areas of work, which can be taken separately or together. None of them consists of reselling a ticket or an invitation.
Each area is composed on request and subject to availability. Nothing is booked in advance, nothing is sold from a catalogue.

A table held for you, set apart, in the half-light. Often the first thing to be booked during the week.

Fair tickets are sold by the organiser, named and non-transferable: we can arrange their purchase in your name, subject to availability, without resale. Openings, dinners and evenings by invitation are a matter for their hosts: we can pass on a request, without promise. We do, however, offer the entire stay, whose availability is confirmed to you before any commitment.

What to know before you ask.
Fair tickets are sold by the organiser, on salonemilano.it and on site: named and non-transferable, they cannot be resold, and we resell none — we arrange their purchase in your name where possible. Design Week evenings are held by invitation from their hosts. Everything else is real and verifiable: the stay, the days, the journeys, the tables and the evenings we create.
Professionals are admitted to the fair from 13 to 18 April 2027; suppliers, manufacturers and students from 16 to 18 April; the general public on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 April. We build the week starting from your category, then place quarters, museums and evenings around it.
The Fuorisalone, announced for 12 to 18 April 2027, takes over the whole city: Brera Design District, Tortona, 5VIE, Isola, Porta Venezia, palazzo courtyards opened for a few days, the majority free to enter. Many of our clients find as much there as in the halls at Rho.
Milan is booked very early for mid-April. When the city is full, a hotel near Rho or a villa on the shores of Lake Como, about an hour away, take over, with a chauffeur for the morning journeys and the evening returns.

Yes, at the weekend: the general public is admitted on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 April 2027. Tuesday to Friday is reserved for trade professionals; suppliers, manufacturers and students are admitted from Friday to Sunday. Tickets, which are named, are sold by the organiser. It is built element by element, and each one varies with your choices: the address and category of the room or villa (minimum stays are common during the week), whether you stay in the city, near Rho or on the lake, the length of stay, the train, a commercial flight or a private jet, the number of chauffeur days, the format of your dinners and private evenings, the size of your party and how early you book. We prepare a bespoke quote; availability and conditions are confirmed before any commitment.

By train, direct services link Paris to Milano Centrale in about seven hours. By air, Linate is a few kilometres from the centre and Malpensa some fifty kilometres away; both have a business aviation terminal for private jets. As soon as possible. Milan's rooms for mid-April go several months ahead, as do experienced chauffeurs and jet slots. A bespoke quote can nonetheless be prepared at any time, subject to availability at the time of the request.
